We have been looking for a product to refinish our garden water fountain without any good results until our paint store told us about Pond Armor Shield. It not only worked well but it looks brand new. And we thought we might have had to throw it out and start all over!

I followed the instruction to proper dilute the epoxy and paint but for some reason within minutes of me using the entire paint balled up and thickened. And it ruined it which i was unable to use. Very upset

This material mixes easily and gives plenty of working time before it begins to set. The sky blue color looks exceptionally gorgeous on the inside basin of my outdoor fountain.

Worked great. Used it to recoat a repaired yard fountain....
Worked great. Used it to recoat a repaired yard fountain. Not only did it seal the basin great, it was smooth and the blue color makes the water llok great. Reduces evaporaton too. Only concern was measuring contents properly because I made small batches so I could make sure the product did not harden before I was done.

Worked amazing. Had an old fountain I was fixing up to become a bee bath(yes bees). Instructions are very good….make sure to read them before starting. Finish was just what I wanted.

Using as a non-toxic sealer for some homemade vivarium decor. Easy application and sufficient working time. Ultra high gloss finish, not ideal for my purposes.

Unable to apply this product after 15 minutes of mixing. It hardens totally too quickly. This product, in my opinion, is a failure! Home Depot should not offer this inadequate product any longer. Totally misleading product performance information. I did return it and received a refund. I am a licensed contractor.

Old fountain still leaking after using leak stop cement on...
Old fountain still leaking after using leak stop cement on bowl. Wore thick rubber gloves, face protection, worked outside with a bucket of water ready. Read instructions! Used diluted muriatic acid on inside of dry bowl. Rinsed w water, let dry. (5 gal water plus 1 lb bicarb--slowly add left over acid to neutralize acid to discard) Mixed half of grey Pond Shield 1.5 qt in proper ratio (added sm vol denat'd alcohol to thin) Applied w scraper (too thick for brush). Apply again after 2 h. Wait 48h. No leak!

Adjacent to my swimming pool there is a waterfall feature that was covered with Pebble Tec as was the pool
years ago. When Pebble Tec is not covered with water it can dry out and small, difficult to discern, cracks may develop
which may lead to leakage. This occurred in the basin for the waterfall.
Two coats of Pond Shield remedied the problem. Product was easy to apply and reasonably-priced. Shipping was prompt.
The only limitation of the product is limited color selection.
