Installation of the FIRST switch was easily. Then the housing cracked on start up. Maybe the teflon tape was too much for the threading. Returned to Home Depot only to be told that the replacement switch would be standard shipping of 1 week. Now 2 weeks without the compressor. SECOND switch was installed with Permatex Gasket Maker (red). No problems. Turns off and on as designed.

Highly recommend this switch! I was fixing my old 2005 vintage Husky 60gal compressor that something fell on the switch and broke the plastic top cover and caused the high voltage wiring to be exposed. This new switch was a perfect replacement, and it is adjustable be a single screw if the pressures aren’t a perfect match to yours. My compressor was originally a 135psi, but I had put on a 145psi replacement pump, so I was able to adjust it up to 145psi. The turn on pressure is always 30psi below the turn off pressure, so it is now a 115-145psi switch.

I bought it as a direct replacement for the pressure switch on my air compressor. So far it works great!

Switch had a different electric connection from the original. Had to drill a hole to fit my electric conduit. I did not make a second hole for the electric motor cord and use the bottom cord clamp. Switch worked good and cuts off at 150PSI

We needed a better pressure switch for the church air compressor and this fit the bill nicely.

The Powermate Pressure Switch was an almost exact replacement for the pressure switch on my Husky 60 gallon compressor. The only difference was the routing of the wiring - this caused no problems whatsoever, The installation was easy, taking about half an hour. The high pressure cutoff was as specified and the original pressure gauge and relief valve installed perfectly. I'd recommend this pressure switch for the advertised application.

Worked as advertised - for once.

The Powermate switch gives me a few extra pounds of pressure for some of my new tools and it is a very easy install, it fit right in and gives me a way to turn it on and off very easily, it gives me extra taps so that I can add an air pressure regulator for delicate jobs.

Installed on my 20 gal. Sandborn air compressor. Fixed my air bypass valve issue. Would give it a 5 star but the Auto & Off screen print on the switch cover isn't as BOLD as in the picture or the original switch cover and is hard to read when in low lighting.

Pressure switch worked as advertised and was a direct replacement for what I had. Excellent.

Installed in minutes and works great.

It does find gets the job done just doesn't last long. I just wish we could purchased the oem part. I've ordered this part for the third time now.
