I love this deep fryer. I fried some chicken in this and it was perfect. I would recommend this purchase.

Used it for deep fried turkey breast for Thanksgiving, it was perfect for a 4lb breast. No problems with getting a juicy succulent browned to perfection bird. Will definitely use every Thanksgiving.

I love this, there are so many uses for it. I also purchased a smaller one as well.

Overall not toooooo bad. Good size. On most fryers the lid is designed to be able to be in place with the basket inside by being notched out to accommodate the basket handle. I understand that you don't fry with the lid in place however, I don't throw out my oil after each use and store it in the fryer for one or two future frys. So it would be nice if the lid could be securely put on to keep it covered with the basket in place. The heating element is a two piece design instead of just a single piece which is a first for me and I don't understand the logic in that. The two pieces hold together with magnets. However, the magnets are not very strong and it comes apart easily with the slightest movement. So if your cooker is suddenly cooling instead of cooking it is probably because the heating element has fallen off.
