These work well. I got them for my basement ceiling. They are light so don't fall out of the ceiling. Feel a little bit cheap [the plastic] but they aren't really being looked at so it's fine. Vents open/close easily. Make sure your HVAC vent is low enough [like almost flush with the drywall] so the magnets [4 sides] can actually connect with them.

the magnet works to stick to my ceiling register. the vent is also low profile and flat.. perfect for my newly renovated washroom floor vent which has low clearance from the door that sweeps over the vent.

Perfect solution for an annoying problem. The old air register was an eye sore and I couldn’t stand it any longer so I had to find a solution. I didn’t see these register when I went into the Home Depot but found them when I was perusing their website. The reviews were great except for the odd reviewer that had issues because their vents were likely damaged or the space the wrong size but mine fit perfectly! They just popped in and stayed. Easy to control the heat flow. One problem solved now onto the next! Highly recommend, give them a try. They will not disappoint! Happy house renovator.

If your duct work isn’t perfect then they don’t sit completely flush with the ceiling. But overall better than using screws.

I wish there was other sizes. I even emailed the main company and no replied so I got other kinds for other sizes I need.............

Worked amazing

I wish the magnets were stronger.

This worked really well. We had a ceiling vent that kept falling down due to the hole being a little large with drywall coming off. I pushed this hard into thr ceiling and it fit and has stayed perfectly. Two sided tape didn’t work but this did!

These magnetic air register vents work exactly as hoped for in basement ceiling vents. They have not fallen out after being installed for 2 months.

I was not aware these were sold at Home Depot since they don't have any at the store. I was by accident I came across them on the site. I actually bought my own Earth Magnets (from another Store) and attached them to the vent, plus I had another vent with a 2 inch gap from the vent edge to the vent so I had to build an extension with firm plastic to make it work.

The 4by 10 Magnetic Register worked for me, it was very easy to install, the only thing I will say is why I can’t get 6 by 10. It’s only one size and that’s not good.

A perfect solution! No mess no fuss, and the register stays up perfectly. Should have been invented years ago.

The register worked as expected so far (it has been about a month or so). Wish it's a bit cheaper, but it get the job done.

The idea f the magnetic vent for ceilings is great. The one thing though is that the magnets don't seem strong enough or maybe there should be more than four.

This is a great product. Easy to install and stays put. Will be ordering more.

Great idea. Looked to be well built, but did not fit my opening properly, so I returned it.

These things are fabulous! After trying to do everything to keep some old registers in place, these did the job in less than a minute

Fits perfectily and the magnets hold it in place. No screws or tools needed and no mess to clean up. Take the item out of the box and install it. Super easy. Just make sure your ceiling vent comes down within an inch of the ceiling so the vent magnets can come in contact. This item is perfect for home owners that cannot find the wood/metal backing behind the drywall to screw in those other heavier metal vents.

Perfect fit, arrived on time (guest room) and insert and done…love it!
