In just 2 days this trap has caught seven yellow jackets. It's doing a better job than the exterminators. I've called the exterminator out twice, they we're supposed to have come out with a bee suit to find the hive in my front yard. Both times they did not bring a bee suit and just sprayed from their vehicle. I should have just bought this in the first place.

Great product! Not only catches wasps but helped make Halloween more fun!

Had a large influx of hornets after Hurricane Ian. Set two traps up; one was pheromone wick type, other was water based type. Absolutely slaughtered them and only seeing a few stragglers here and there. Photo shows partial body count. Have an extra wick in reserve!

I have wasps not yellowjackets so it didn't work for me

The attractant lures the queen and workers into the see-through tube via a cotton ball soaked in the lure, the yellowjackets can climb in via the holes located on the bottom, but can't get out and will succumb, you just need to keep the tube cleaned out and replace the attractant according to instructions. You'll get an extra ten-week supply of attractant for a total of getting a ten-week supply. You're able to hang the tube at least twenty feet away from your outside space. You get to enjoy the outside without having to worry about being stung. The bright neon green let's everyone know to keep distance away. The kids get excited everyday and are watching for the yellowjackets to get caught. I'm very please at the concept of the trap!

I'm hoping that we will have a more pleasurable Spring and Summer this year and that my dogs won't get stung again. I recommend this trap because it was easy to assemble and seems to be doing exactly what it was made to do. My photo was taken right after I hung it so there are no bees in it but it has since trapped them.

Wasps and yellowjackets are a serious problem in my neighborhood. I have to have traps and repellents so my kid can play outside. I like that these cartridges are so easy to replace. Getting this Yellowjacket trap has helped me spend time more comfortably outside now that I know I have my problem under control. I put this in one of the trees close to an area I’ve known there to be yellowjackets and wouldn’t you know it’s already starting to work. It came with a good comparison of how you differentiate a Yellowjacket and a paper wasp, and tells you to hang the trap at least 20 feet from outdoor living spaces. This will help you lure queens and workers alike, can help prevent nests, and can be utilized Spring through Fall.

One thing I really like about this is that it educates the user on the difference between a Yellowjacket and a Paper Wasp. It says to hang it 20 feet from where you and others will be while outside. I really like the fact that it is reusable, you just have to replace the attractant cartridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a neon yellow color which is cute. It was super easy to snap together. Right now I am using the two week supply and I have it hanging up in a good area. It said to hang around twenty feet from public areas. Which I did. So now waiting to catch those pesky yellow jackets. They hurt when they sting and I don't want them near my porch where we all hang out. So twenty feet is great. It also came included with a ten week supply. After the two week I will use the ten week.This should really help me out. I already seeing that one is caught,and thats victory!

First when it arrived I was impressed with the contents and design of the trap. The directions, which include great pictures, leave no question how to assemble it. Also, how & where to dispense the attractant liquid. Everything was very easy to do. Inhave arthritis in my hands and I had no problems whatsoever. The design is smart for sure. The hornets smell the attractant and crawl in and can't figure out how to get back out. It's easy to empty out when it gets full. Then, every 2 weeks just add more of the bait. This DOES work exactly like it says. We are loving it and have already recommended this to some family.

To set it up I only had to open the package included (cotton ball and yellow jacket attractant liquid), douse the cotton ball, insert it into trap and hang outside for it to begin working. There is a spare attractant refill included, which is good for another 10 weeks for a total of 20. I'm very pleased with this product - the only thing not included was the cord to hang it with!

This Rescue trap is super easy to use, is 100% affective and actually looks good, but most importantly it WORKS for us!! I like that these work for 2 in a half months or longer and keep the Yellowjackets away from us, these are a must-have if you are active in your backyard like we are!! I absolutely recommend these Rescue Yellowjacket traps they are a godsend!!

Yellow jackets can be over whelming . Yellow jackets are chasing the humming birds away from their feeders regularly . I placed the Yellow Jacket trap in a safe area as to not effect the Humming Birds . The trap actually works! The humming birds are not being aggravated by the Yellow Jackets like they were previously . I like that there is a humane way of dealing with Yellow Jackets . Very easy to follow instructions to put together . I like the color of the tube also . Very easy to see and warn others to stay away from it . I will refill this trap with new cartridges when I need to . I am glad I have it .

The weather is still a little cool so I haven't seen any yellowjackets yet. But shouldn't be long the red wasp are flying. I'm going to go ahead and recommend this product. I'm pretty sure it will work.

The attractant is very smelly, and do not get it on your hands. It also has a queen trap that fits inside the unit that I found interesting. It will use this product, and I will recommend it to others.

I received it and the instructions are relatively clear and understandable. You receive everything you need to make it work. It is rather cheap looking, made of bright yellow plastic. So far, the only thing it has attracted are gnats. I will update if that changes. One request would be that they provide something to hang it with. I used zip ties.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love honey bees, don’t mind bumble bees either but hornets and yellowjackets are not welcome anywhere near me. We had a real problem last year with yellowjackets chasing away mail carriers and me. First, the attractant is strong do do not get it on you or you may find some bees tracking you down. I set my traps away from my house where the bees had moved in to draw them away, do this at night to be safe, don’t try it during the day like I did. Also important, if like me you are allergic to bees make someone else hang traps because I discovered that hornets will still come out at night to get you if you get between them and a trap. I used twist ties I saved from random stuff I bought to hang my traps because finding something to hang these is on you. The trap comes with a cotton ball and bait, which works great but you can also grab 10 week cartridges to put in as a refill, expect them to possibly even work longer. Additionally, honey bees were not interested in these traps but I got a lot of those pesky yellow beetles and some stink bugs too. The best part, the bees and other pests die in the trap and you just dump them afterwards.

This had great reviews and so I'm going to give it a shot and bring it with us this year. I'm so excited to have a back up plan. I’ve tried other yellow jacket traps and they just didn’t work. We almost can’t sit near this trap because so many swarm to it in the mornings. They’re piling up inside. Highly recommend.

We put this trap up and in seconds the yellow jackets were swarming the trap. This trap was set up in our yard and not next to a hive. This photo is less than 24 hours from time we put it up.

Its amazing how many Yellow Jackets end up in the trap. I never knew there were so many around until I started using the rescue trap.

We’ve been using these for a little over a year now and they are amazing! We use the 10 week bait cones to avoid having to change so often. We bait at the beginning of spring, mid-summer, and early fall and haven’t had any more problems with them!
