Did the job but didn't work as shown in the video. The Auto feed and retract feature didn't work as advertised. I ended up using it the old fashioned way and it did a great job.

The machine is extremely poor quality! The cable will not retract and it gets tangled. I used it one (1) time and could not use it for future jobs. The Home Depot would not take the faulty machine as a return. I was instructed to call the manufacturer! That was a waste of time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF JUNK! I spend over $200.00 for the use of (1) one time!! Do Not Buy this product you will be extremely disappointed!

Really bad quality didn't recommend. Right aut the box reverse bottom didn't work. Worst part you can't return to store.....

I needed a drain snake for small clogs around my house. It worked well for about a half a dozen times. Then the coil got kinked inside the housing and wouldn’t retract or engage. Sure, you could try to disassemble it and have a 50 foot piece of coiled steel come shooting out, no thanks. It’s a shame because my house will likely flood due to the fact that there is a massive storm about to hit and there is no equipment or plumbers available. The storm drain is clogged and there is nothing I can do about it now. Thanks rigid for a cheap sub par Chinese piece of junk.

Reverse never worked out of the box and they don’t return them because they were used

Worked great the automatic forward and reverse feature was awesome much easier to work than the drill powered models would definitely recommend it.

I used it to clear out all my sinks and bath tub drains. Price was well below calling a plumber for this particular job. Now I can do it all over in a year as preventative maintenance.

Anybody who is giving this tool a low rating has obviously never used a hand powered drain snake. After trying and crying and failing to clear a blockage in a drain with a hand snake I decided to buy this little fella. It saved me a lot of time and effort clearing drains in the frat house that I do maintenance for.

What a waste of money. This thing bound up 6ft out. Call a plumber instead.

The snake does not feed correctly nor retract, so the base is prone to popping open due to excessive force caused by this. This thing was junk until the cable snapped inside my pipes, then it became an expensive regret. Remember: no refunds for a reason. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

Works great, I'm not a professional plumber, just got it for my own house, and used it twice, didn't have an issue

I been having My ridged sewer snake c over a year now it has earn its money and sum

used it to clear the sewer main via the clean out . worked great . the tube the cable runs through is two pieces and comes apart sometimes when reversing cable direction but just pushes back together. its not a comercial unit . just take it easy and dont rush it

Excellent little machine for clearing small waste lines in kitchen and bath. Easy to use.

It did the job, but it was diffcult to get it to wind back up into the coil. I couldn't get it back out of the pipe the first try so i just pulled it out thinking that it would be easier to do out of the pipe but 5hat was problematic because then it just wants to tangle. Like i said it was effective and was much better than trying to do it manually. I would still buy it again unless i could find a better model for the same price or less

I've been using the K-40 machine for years. I decided to give this guy a try, and I was very impressed. As long as you don't act like a meat head with the cable, and you pay attention to what you're doing (like you should with the K-40), this is a great go to if you're starting out, or don't have the cash to drop on the K-40. I have used mine many times already, and I am very, very happy with this. I have been in this business for 25 years, and I can vouch for the great operation and durability of this 'cheaper' version of the K-40. I love mine, that's all I can say. If you're going to trash a cable because you are either too impatient, or inexperienced, grab this machine first lol. Get good, then get fast.

Do not waste your money on this product. The cable gets tangled inside the drum with almost every use and needs to be disassembled and reset. The cable is also thin and cheap and kinks making it useless.
