The sander works exactly for what I need for and was a reasonable price

Its pretty straightforward - it sands, its compatible with all the One+ tool batteries, and was avaiable without having to buy another battery I didn't need. Only downside is the dust collector is easy to knock loose.

The sander ran 4 fully charged batteries completely down after only a few minutes sanding…..I returned it to the store, would not recommend buying unless you have alot of 18 v batteries,

When working outside it gets annoying to drag an extension cord around. This is perfect and I have 2 batteries. I have 1 charging while using the other.

I got this sander for a relatively small job and it exceeded expectations. This unit comes with 3 various sizes (80/120/220) of sandpaper so I'd recommend buying some more when purchasing this item. Would definitely recommend this sander as it's priced nicely compared to others.

It is my first Orbit Sander - I normally have a square DeWalt but I wanted to add to my battery operated tools. Great price (no battery) but I have a number of batteries so no problem - interesting experience with the Orbit Sander - does feel different - not worse or better than the DeWalt corded sander (which is great). Lovely tool.

Only the orbital sander arrived. Several calls into Home Depot said that the second sander would arrive in the second package. After three weeks of calling, they finally informed me that I would have to return the sander because they made a mistake and they can't just send me the second sander absolutely ridiculous and what a waste of time stupid idiotic.

The sander works great and the on/off button is a little easier to operate than the older version I had. However, I have had problems with the dust bag (pops off or the cloth portion slides back on the frame leaving a gap for dust to escape) which I did not experience with my previous Ryobi sander.

Having used a wired finishing sander forever, I purchased this to augment my Ryobi battery-powered tools. It was great for sanding my skim coated dining room walls and little-to-no dust with a wet/dry vac hooked up to it. Easy (and comfortable) to use. Fit in my hand well. Sanding discs stayed on and were easily removed and replaced. The sander has two speeds: Off and on. The finish was as expected (some swirls detected on 100-Grit - but fast, none at 180-grit - slower). I realized quickly that the original batteries I had with the tool-set would only last 10 minutes (1.5ah), so purchased some after-market 6ah batteries and they extended the life considerably,.

Great sander allowed me to get to the tight spots on my project. Good power no dust collection.

Easy to work with and handy. Would recommend this ?

Excellent Charge last longer than expected

I realize that this was a free tool with the purchase of the 2 battery & charger kit, that said; the dust bag repeatedly falls off. The bag is a press fit versus screw on. If there is a fix for this, I am all ears. Aside from this issue, the sander works well.

Light weight. Did a good job sanding handrails that needed to be repainted.
