Works really well. Great for quick sanding jobs, or bigger wuth the big battrry. Hookup a vac and dust is collected.

It is an okay sander. Bought to refinish a dining room table. I can not even get through sanding 1/3 of the table before I have to put it back on the charger. That causes a 1+ hour delay in this project....multiply that by 6 (80 grit then 120 grit) and I have wasted an entire day. Since refinishing the table was my entire plan for the weekend, I am not pleased. I will be returning this. :( I will do a little more homework next time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this silly little spinny boy for a little over a year and boy does it work great! I have used it for may projects from wood to metal and it works like a dream! My only gripe is that the catch bag does not stay attached well, but i easily remedy this with a small piece of tape, badabing badaboom.

Much more power than a similar size polisher. Sands better than a sheet samder.

Just put in a front deck and this worked perfectly to smooth out the edges. Will use it to prep the deck for stain next.

The Ryobi 5" Orbital sander blew right through the old varnish on a dresser I'm working on. Precise enough to take the grain to a smooth finish. Run time is great and easily is the most used tool in my shop!

My other sander burned up while using it. I was refinishing a table. My new sander arrived that day & worked perfectly. Seems to be a great item. Thanks

Wish there was an adapter to connect to my Ryobi wet/dry vacuum.
