I hate that I have to write a negative review because it was one of my favorite tools and I used it for EVERYTHING - it worked awesome for a time. But there are design flaws with this tool. The wiring runs from one light strip to the other through the pivot joint & I think the repeatable stress on that joint frequently weakens or impinges on the wiring. Great idea, but it will fail sooner that it should. Tried to fix it twice. I'm finally giving up on it.

Works great. I am going to buy a second one because I like it so much :)

Great work shop light. When working on a project on my work bench, the extra light is very helpful. I can position the light to the exact spot I need. With the 4ah battery it last a long time.

Great little light. I've already found it about 3x as useful as I expected. When I was looking at lights, I had some scenarios in mind where I usually wish I had something better, but now, with this light always available, I find myself grabbing it in other situations where seeing better might help. Nice addition to my Ryobi 18v collection.

This is great for all applications! Camping, fishing, working, power outages, you name it! I can't wait to see how else I could use this tool! the battery life is incredible. 10/10 recommend and will be asking for a 2nd one for Christmas this year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these, and have 2 of them. 1 under each upper cabinet in my garage over my workbench. Not only does it work for a work light application, but expanded, it works like a shop light. There are several hanging options, which makes this light really useful. My only wish, is that it was hybrid, and a corded application was an option for a more permanent application.

This was a great buy. It was good and bad. These lights do not come with batteries. Why ? Package deals are always the better buys. However, the factory rep was there and I talked to him. He didn't know why ether. He offered me a deal, if I purchased the light he would throw in a battery. Batteries are too expensive to buy only without a tool combo pack. The light has great lumination. Thanks.

Light works great . Two settings help light last longer for small projects. Great light for camping.

Man, what a cool light! Not only can it be used freestanding in a few different positions, but it has hooks/hangers that fold out, and it can hang in a variety of ways. It’s battery operated so no wires to get in the way (although I wish it was a hybrid). It’s really bright and has a few different lighting options; both sides on, one side on, or the other side on only. Great idea RYOBI!

So far this is the best workshop light I have ever owned. I like the multiple ways of hanging it and the multi positions for ease of use. Powerful light and will last for quite a while on a 4hr battery. Love this product and highly recommend it for the price point.

This one is amazing and has replaced all my other shop lights. I will definitely be picking up a second one, I like it so much. It folds open and closed and has three different light settings and lots of hooks and hangers. Very well thought out. Only thing I would have added was a USB charging port.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this light with other ryobi tools it works fantastic very efficiently in the amount of light it puts out. According to what size battery it uses it lasted long on the bigger batteries. Very please can’t wait to get a second one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Changed the oil on my Side by Side and the light worked really well. No cords to drag and tangle on the creeper and no burns from the hot bulb. Better yet no tangled cord to wind up and put away. The illumination from the led was better than the old drop cord. Love it!
