I like the compact sized battery charging base. I weighed the battery charger base with the attached wall adapter and they weighed in at 15 ounces. I measured the power consumed with my power meter and the results were 44 watts charging a 4Ah battery and one half watt without a battery in the base. There are key hole hanger slots in the bottom of the base for wall mounting. Overall, this is a good battery charger.

I got this charger to supplement my other Ryobi charger because I use several Ryobi products. This charger maxes my other charger as it charges really fast. I love Ryobi's 3-year warranty, although I doubt I'll need it because my other Ryobi tools last much longer. Because we live on solar off the grid, I also like the energy saving feature of this charger.

For me, I like to having additional Ryobi ONE+ Chargers available. I have multiple Ryobi tools that I use both outside and around the house. Additional chargers mean I can keep them in a toolbox or fixed on the bench or wall. There are some things about this 18V charger that I really appreciate. The Ryobi green color stands out and is easy to spot even from a distance. The LED indicators are convenient, bright and simple to understand. The charger circuitry protects batteries that are too hot or to cold to charge. There’s a couple minor changes I would prefer. First, the unit isn’t optimized for carry in a bag or toolbox. Next, you’ll need to factor in realistic charging times. The box and directions mention quick charging time for 1.5Ah batteries. My partially charged 6Ah High Performance requires close to two hours to full charge. I’m not an engineer or electrician, so I can’t really comment on the time, but it’s what my battery requires. Lastly, like many others, I need more Ryobi ONE+ tools and batteries to get full use from the chargers.

This 18V charger gets the job done. It's not a quick charge, it does take a few hours to charge a 4Ah battery, but I expect that the batteries will last longer with the slower charges as opposed to the quick charges. The only concern is that large AC adapter may cause some issues for some people, especially if your workspace is already using several electrical outlets. Everything else was fine with this charger and it doesn't make a sound! So for anyone who wants a silent charger, this one is definitely it. No noise whatsoever. Be careful with it though, the power cord is permanently attached and is very thin. Charges one battery at a time.

Ryobi makes an 18 volt charger, that can be interchanged with my other Ryobi products that i own, it is dependable, has long lasting run time, charges quickly, takes very little space at the charging station, I do like having an extra charger, especially if I am running the sander, or other tools, as I multi task. I have never been disappointed in any of the other tools, all are great quaility.Thanks Ryobi for the added charger.

This Ryobi charger will charge batteries for all your 18V ONE+ tools. This charger is compact and takes up little space. This can charge a 1.5ah battery in as little as 45 minutes. The indicator lights will show power to the charger, will flash while charging and will be solid green when charge is complete. The charger is designed with the ability to be mounted to the wall for quick access. I don't have the space to mount it, so I just charge on the countertop when needed. This comes with a 3 year limited warranty.

As my collection of Ryobi cordless tools increases, I continue to need chargers for the various batteries. This charger is also a quality product. It charges all sizes of Ryobi 18V One+ Lithium-Ion batteries quickly, just as the older models that I have. I do like the new "Ryobi green colored exterior as it easy easier to identify in my charger bank station). The led indicators are bright and easy to understand, and the batteries stay in place with the tabs on the battery. 5 Stars Ryobi.

The Ryobi One+ 18v lithium-Ion Charger gets the job done. You can charge an 18v battery in less than an hour. Since most of my battery operated tools are Ryobi, this tool was a must-have. The light indicators show the progress of the battery being charged. This charger can be mounted on the wall or it can sit on a flat surface. It is easily mobile for on-the-job charging. I several of them and am pleased with every one of them.

I have built up quite an inventory of Ryobi cordless tools, both 18 volt and 40 volts. I have extra batteries for all these tools. It is very nice to have extra battery chargers. This charger charges all the different size 18-volt batteries very quickly. The LED indicator lets you know what state of charge the battery is in. This extra charger keeps all my Ryobi tools at the ready when I need them.

I requested this compact 18 volt battery charger because I had just damaged one of the older chargers I had and needed aone to replace it. This Ryobi charger is built with the same quality of materials as the other chargers in the 18 volt ONE+ lineup. I have been using this charger mostly on my kitchen counter in a corner but also used it in shed on work bench to charge batteries from compact radio and my large handheld spot light. There are some pros and cons when it comes to this charger. PROS : 1. charger is very small/compact and takes up very little space on a counter,table, etc. 2. Fits nicely in tray area on back of my work bench. 3. light weight and charges batteries pretty quickly. CONS : 1. plug from charger has transformer built in and is pretty big which takes up plug space in power strip or receptacle. 2. wire from charger is very thin and is more likely to get damaged in a work shop or handyman type project conditions compared to typical chargers.

Here we have a RYOBI 18V Lithium-Ion charger in the traditional RYOBI green color, model number PCG002. It has a similar LED indicator light, that my older RYOBI battery chargers have. The LED charging indicatort pulsates when a battery is in charging state and is solid when a battery is fully charged. I have several RYOBI batteries, so this will come in handy when I need to charge multiple batteries at the same time. Be sure to disconnect your battery once it is fully charged and to avoid damaging your battery. One thing to note, is if you want more power out of your RYOBI tools, get a higher Amp battery, especially for drills and tire inflators. They will change the way you use your RYOBI tools. And this charger will keep them fully charged. If you are in need of an extra charger, then I recommend this charger for all your RYOBI tools.

The Ryobi 18-volt lithium-ion charger is a very nice tool to keep all your Ryobi tools going. It comes ready to mount and charge or maintain your batteries, I mounted mine on a wall next to another Ryobi 18-volt charger because it is more convenient to pull your battery out when the base will not move. The charger has all the modal lights that let you know what state your battery is in, and it will tell you if there is going to be a delay because the battery is too hot from extended use. I like the slower charge rate too because a cooler battery will last longer.

Small charger that can be placed anywhere there is power nearby. Portable so you can take with you onto a job site with you so you can charge a battery when needed. The bright LED lights show up so the charger when charging, can be spotter in the dark from a long distance. Charges only eighteen-volt Ryobi batteries so if you have some older lower voltage batteries this charger is not adequate according to the instructions. I would recommend this charger to all individuals that use eighteen volt Ryobi power tools.

I have three batteries: 1.5, and two 4.0 amp. I use them for drill, impact drill, blower and hedger. The 18v charger works great. Plug it in, then add the batter. If the batter is too hot or cold, the charger will delay. Nice feature. There are 4 legend items printed on the charger - waiting, bad battery, charging and charged. The middle red/green light pair indicate which of the 4 items is happening. Nice to read. The 45-minute charge time for a 1.5 amh battery is accurate. I charged a hot battery and it work at that time. Good quality product from Ryobi.

Can anyone have enough Ryobi Battery Chargers? This single battery charger is a great addition to your Ryobi tool collection. Handling any of the Ryobi 18+ volt batteries, this unit charges fast without breaking a sweat. LED instrument panel and clear markings explain to you what is going on with your battery. AC wall adapter hard wired into the unit with long cord. Mounting holes on the back to place on wall. Battery locks in so you don't have to worry about it falling out. Another great product to the Ryobi line. I recommend this charger. I rate this 5*s out of 5. Thank you Ryobi for allowing me to try your product. Ryobi One+ 18V Lithium-Ion Charger works great. It charged up one of my batteries without any issues. The amount of time to charge a battery depends on how many bars were used up during use. It can take a few minutes up to the 45 minutes. It also indicates when a battery will no longer hold a charge. I had a battery I marked as weak and sure enough the indicator light verified it was no longer taking a charge. The indicator lights indicate if it is too hot/cold, charging, no longer taking a charge, and of course when it is done charging. The battery can be kept in the charger when it is done charging. Even hung on the wall to save workstation space. The energy saving mode conserves energy when it is not charging, or maintaining the battery. I remove my batteries and store them separately from the charger. It charges all One+ 18V tools, over 260 of them. It has a three year warranty.

We are repeat customers and have many of Ryobi tools and this is yet another charger for the many tools we have. It will be nice to have two chargers available, whether we are using both in our garage or take on to the boat. These chargers can be hooked up on a wall of space is needed. The led lights on this charger show when battery is fully charged when solid green.

Ryobi-One and The Home Depot supply you with an extra 18 volt charger ! I got this charger to have one in different locations. (see photos) This charger has the voltage reducer/convertor on the plug and was shipped in a plastic bag for safety ! The directions are included but shortened quick use ones are on the base ! The lights tell if it is a good battery or bad, red, and fully charged, green ! I am very happy with it's seemingly fast charging !!

This 18 Volt Lithium Ion charger works on this vendors 18V tool batteries. It can handle the smallest of these type batteries (2ah) to the largest of these batteries (5ah). What I personally like about this brand of charger is that you have the option of wall mounting the charger. Since in my case almost all my power tools now are battery operated, I have quite the variety of chargers. I do get angry at the brands which do not allow you to wall mount the chargers. My shop has limited desk or shelf space for what is turning into many different chargers, so when the brand does not make the charger able to be wall mounted, It takes space away from my shelf storage or workshop bench space. But this brand ensures all its chargers are wall mountable. Good job to them! I highly recommend this brand charger for appropriate tools.

This is an excellent dual platform charger! Great for charging our 40 volt batteries and 18 volt at the same time. The batteries charge quick to keep our tools going. The locking mechanism holds the batteries in place well without fear of them falling out or not knowing if they are locked in position to charge. It is a little on the light side which might be due to the plastic they use.

Great idea to make this a multi functioning dual battery charger. We are now able to charge the battery for our chainsaw and for out power tools. This is only the charger and doesn't include any batteries. The RYOBI ONE+ Dual Platform Charger is for any RYOBI 18-Volt ONE+ and Ryobi 40-Volt Batteries. Helps simplify and reduce the need for multiple charges by charing both the 18 and 40 volt battery at the same time, no need to wait for one to finish charging as it can handle both charging together. Includes a 3 year manufacturer warranty. Indicator lights show status as batteries are simultaneously charged and maintained. We are super happy with this charger and recommend it.

I like that this desktop charger has a power cord that plugs straight into the wall without a power adapter. I like that the batteries latch into the charger, unlike chargers from other manufacturers where the batteries can't latch into the charger base. I weighed the charger on my scale and it weighs in at 2-1/2 pounds. I was hoping that this would be a fast charger, but it still took over 3 hours to charge a totally dead 40 volt battery. I measured the input power with my power meter and it consumes 53 watts while charging a dead battery.

This RYOBI ONE+ LITHIUM-ION CHARGER is for charging two different types of batteries. It will charge 18-VOLT and 40-VOLT batteries. It is a relatively fast charger for either type of battery. The charger has a red light and a green light for each battery type. The light is steady green when charging and wavy green when charged. If the battery is bad, it will test it and show wavy red to indicate a bad battery. Of course the charger is a plug in and use straight out of the box.

This dual charger is just what I needed to keep all my Ryobi tools equipped with charged batteries. I chose to install the charger horizontally. First I found a stud in my garage, and installed two screws 6" apart but aligned vertically. I screwed them in until the head of the screws was just protruding out from the wall. Then I set the charger against the wall and slid the charger down until the screws hooked into the keyhole slots in the back. THe charger is held very snugly against the wall. Love the I can charge 18V and 40V batteries at the same time.

Finally - Ryobi makes a multi-platform charger. I have an assortment of both 18 volt and 40 volt Ryobi tools and batteries. So it was to my excitement to finally see a Ryobi charger that can accept both batteries. Out of the box, there is nothing to it. Installed it on my bench right nest to my existing Ryobi 18 volt and 40 volt chargers. In size comparison, the dual platform charger is slightly larger than the two separate chargers but I am happy to give up the roughly extra inch of width to gain an outlet back on my power strip. For the actual performance of the dual platform charger; it does just as good of a job as the volt dedicated chargers, no faster or slower and yes, it can charge both types of batteries at the same time. In other words I can recharge a 18 volt and 40 volt battery at the same time. Another plus is the charger can be wall mounted. A variety of mounting options on the charger backside.

I have been using the Ryobi 18 Volt tools and batteries since they came out and I still have 6 Ni-Cad battery packs that still work great. Most of my batteries are the Lithium-Ion ones from the smallest up to the 9Ah packs so I'm always swapping out packs and chargers. Now we have a 40 Volt Weed trimmer and this charger was perfect for us. Now I can charge both types of batteries with a single charger, And best of all I can mount it on the wall (When I get a chance) with the built-in mounting spots on the bottom. Works Great and small size saves space. GREAT!!!

I have a full line of 18-Volt and a growing line of 40-Volt tools. This Dual Platform Charger is very convenient to be able to charge both batteries simultaneously in one unit. I have come to absolutely love Ryobi products. They all work great, are easy to use and are fairly light weight. I own a Ryobi chainsaw, hedge trimmer and jet fan leaf blower. Each comes with a battery plus their own chargers. So I was starting to want to simplify having so many and along came this product. The chainsaw and leaf blower use the 40 volt battery and the hedge trimmer the 18 volt. I can now use just one outlet to keep my batteries charged at all time. The original chargers will still work and come in handy when I take my tools to do work at my relatives homes.

This Ryobi one + charger is great for charging both types of batteries.18 volt and 40 volt .It does work with all Ryobi batteries that are one +.It has a six foot cord and the indicators are on the top of the unit. It is perfect for my husband to keep in his shop for his Ryobi tools so we don't have to keep moving the charger base from place to place because I already have a Ryobi charger for my battery.
