Best looking results of a patch
I use on most of all my stucco patching. It even works over most vinyl tub patching compound to give hold and large area coverage.

Rapid Set Worth Every Penny
I replaced an old aluminum window and was left with a 2” to 3” gap about 1” deep in the stucco. After carefully cleaning and sealing the area I filled the gap with Stucco Patch. After troweling and sponge finishing the repair was completed. No slumping or dropouts at all. There’s plenty of working and cleanup time at 65 degree temperatures yesterday. This morning I applied the paint and the repair is done! Regular stucco is a 3 coat process and 30 days until prime coat with masonry primer.

Stucco patch is very easy to mix and simple to make it match current stucco on home. I used a rubber trowel to apply and with the aid of a little water, you can change the final appearance to match the house.

I successfully used this stucco patch to fill a void hole area around a hose bibb on the wall of my garage. Mixing 4:1 water to powder was way too runny, more like 1:1 worked better and I still had to wait about 30min or more for it to get to where it was easier to work with but it was a cool day in the 60's. I had almost 2 hours where I could still work with the material before it started to harden at this temperature. It got solid hard after several hours and I painted it the next day. I only wish it was available in a lower cost smaller portion, I didn't need even more than 5% of the amount in the box for this job.

This is pretty good stuff. The directions state to mix it in a 4:1 ratio of material to water, which would be 2 quarts of water for the entire 25 lb bag. However, using that proportion made the material way too dry for me to trowel. It seems that a better proportion is around 2:1 or alternatively just mix it gradually until it has the consistency test of not dropping off a trowel when you hold it up. It will dry rock hard. For small patches, it is great because it dries so fast that you can paint the same day. I used it to patch a 28" X 20" hole from an old window unit AC. One 25 lb. package will cover about four square feet. Just remember, you can't mess around with the time you take to apply it. You basically just have enough time to mix and make one pass at troweling it on when temps are around 80 degrees. I would use ice water if you want to prolong the working time. Use a red or green rubber float and lightly rub in a circular motion to bring out the sand for texture.

        Best Stucco Patch!!!
I had to patch some stucco, and this product matched perfectly. You can apply up to 2 inches and it dries in 2 hours. I waited a whole day and then painted.

One coat 1/8 to 2 inch in one go. I used fridge water to aid prolonged drying time in hot weather. Easy to apply, is very sticky. Does not slump or fall off. Matched my rough sand Stucco finish using a red sponge float to bring out sand. I used it after removing 2x4 inch rotten wood from around my windows. Great product

Does What They Say it Will
I love this product! I tried patching the badly deteriorated stucco on my chimney with a different product that would... not... adhere... AT ALL! I redid the job today with Rapid Set Stucco Patch. It worked like a charm! One note: when they say "fast drying", believe it! I'll mix it a little wetter next time.

I used several of these kits to patch cracked exterior stucco and fill in a few larger areas where I removed large, architectural wood protrusions. The product worked fairly well, but was far from perfect. Some pros and cons: Pros: - Easy to mix and apply - Fast curing time, which minimizes slumping - Self-contained in box, easy to use some and store for another time Cons - Fairly expensive for the small quantity - if you're planning to cover a large area, it's a much better deal to buy a bag of stucco or make your own - Very coarse grit - don't plan on matching the existing stucco finish - Cures VERY quickly in warm weather (I mixed a batch filling about half of an orange Home Depot, and about half of it hardened before I could get it on) I would definitely recommend this product to others for patching small areas.

            Better than I thought!
I finally broke down and decided to buy a box of this last time I was at the Depot. I held off from patching up the wall stucco at the back of my house, as I was gonna have my concrete guy do the work, but when the days and weeks went by, I figured he was busy with bigger jobs and decided to do the work myself. The instructions were clear and simple and only mixed what I needed for the repair area. The stucco patch mixed up quick and nice. Application of the patch went on easily with minimal waste. Upon inspection of the patched area after the recommended time to dry and paint, the repaired spots felt solid. I tried using a regular sponge to bring out the texture to somewhat match my original stucco, but I should have bought a regular sponge float. Nonetheless I am happy with how this product worked out.

            Great for patching damanged stucoo
I had some areas under my front door and along the bottom of the house where the stucco has crumbled away. The stucco patch from Home Depot is great for patching these areas. I used a 5 gallon bucket from Home Depot to mix the compound with water to prepare the stucco. The instructions give a ratio of 4 parts mix to 1 part water and using putty knife for a slump test which shows it is the right consistency. I used a putty knife to apply it and it gives a great texture that matches my original stucco. I covered about 8 square feet using half of the package. After about 3-4 hours it is ready to pain. It's a great product.

Smooth, Easy to Work With, Dries Fast
I was a little apprehensive about patching the stucco on the back side of my house. I have done mortar on bricks and concrete sidewalks, but this was a stand up wall. I shouldn't have feared. With the consistency of mortar (stay on trowel held at 90 degree angle to ground) it went on just as if I was troweling a cement sidewalk. In fact, I used a cement trowel to do the work and a cement float to get the dimpled look of the texture. And a clean piece of plywood for a mortar board (easier to use than scraping it out of a mixing bucket). The stucco patch mixed easily with no lumps. Like mortar, it dries just a little shortly after mixing so what is a little too wet when mixing comes out the right wetness for the job. There are directions on the bag to mix 1 part water to 4 parts stucco patch.

Purchased this for some minor stucco repair patches. Just broken stucco at the bottom exposing the flashing. This box will do a large repair or multiple small repairs. It worked great and set quick. Mix only a little at a time as it hardens pretty quick. The 4 parts to 1 part water is pretty accurate. YouTube is your friend for first timers. Will purchase rapid set products for future needs.
