Water heater is in Garage. Very himid wjen raining.Perfect in everyway except one problem. The water leak detector is too sensitive and will shut down the heater. I was getting a leak alarm every 3 hours on email. The first tech said just put a permanent little fan on the floor blowing on it. The third time I called Rheem I got a tech that walked me thru pulling out 1 of 2 sensors and so far this has worked. You can not unhook sensors without loosing all the excellent app control ability. Rheem shoukd have a plug in accessory on the mother board to.by pass sensors or a switch. So inside it would be great but in a garage may present the problem I described

Here are some general steps on how to adjust the temperature on most electric water heaters:

It’s usually behind an access panel on the side of the water heater. You might see two panels if your water heater has two thermostats.
Unscrew and remove the access panel, and you should see insulation underneath. Gently pull back the insulation to reveal the thermostat.
There should be a dial or a screw that allows you to adjust the temperature. The recommended setting is typically around 120°F to prevent scalding and save energy. However, you can adjust it to your preference.
Once you’ve made the adjustment, replace the insulation and the access panel.
The blinking lights might be indicating a specific issue or error code. If the manual doesn’t provide information on this, it would be best to contact The Home Depot’s customer service or Technical Support team for assistance. They should be able to help you understand what the blinking lights mean and how to resolve any potential issues.

My tank arrived hours before delivery was to have been made, so I was a not present to receive the wet and multiply broken and taped box. I opened the box to find a tank with 10 separate dents in it. I was told by Home Depot that I could not have the tank picked up without it being secured in the box, even though I tried to explain that the box was in wet pieces. I had to wrestle the tank into my SUV and return it to Home Depot to get a refund. I re-ordered the same tank and asked that it be trucked to my home from a nearby Home Depot that had it in stock. Nope! They could not do that. It had to be shipped from Washington State, as the first one has been. So it was, and it arrived, with 5 dents in the side. So I spent over an hour taping this box together and had it picked up by the shipper. I did not order a third one.
