2 replacements in 10 years. First one 12 year warranty failed in 6 years. Water leaking from the top. Second one 6 year warranty failed in 4. Water leaking also from the top. Rivers of water in my garage. GARBAGE. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. No pride of workmanship. Quality=Zero stars if possible. Rheem ought to be ashamed of these absolute garbage products, but believe me, it’s not possible for them to care less.

Installation was very straightforward. It is very efficient and heats water very quickly.

I gave it 5 stars because I had good experiences with this brand of water heater in the past. It lasted a long time to me (over 5 years) before they had to be replaced.

Thing has worked like a charm. Puts out hot water very well. no complaints

It came without the nipples reinstalled on the top

Not going to gush about a water heater, but this is a solid unit at a good price.

I installed the 75 Gallon myself to replace a HD/GE (made by Rheem) that was about 13 years old. The installation went fine though it's a 2 person job due to the size and weight of the 75. The nipple connection is 1inch which required an adapter connection to our 3/4 pipes. Once installed, it lit easily and has worked flawlessly since day 1. Quieter than our previous 60, and yet it's a 75000 BTU burner. I also started watching our Gas bill since it was installed, and our gas usage has dropped since the installation date in April. Writing this in late July. Super happy with this water heater. Has a brass drain valve unlike what's pictured in the HD image. My only comment is that the supplied nipples have a heat trap flap in them, and it's not clear which direction the nipples should be installed in the water heater. They are packed in an envelope with the water heater so I did some Youtube searching.

Arrived undamaged. Easy installation. Works fine.

The 1st was a piece of crap. Installed it and it was leaking from the bottom and from the presure valve. Removed it, returned it, got another one and re-install it. What if I did not have a truck, had paid a plumber to install, remove, wait for another and re-install? Who pays him or me for the work? Had I waited another day, HDepot would have NOT taken it back and I would have to call some manufacturer # We all know how that works and how long it would take .... lol Or (C)rying ol

delivery was easy and quick.

Installation went as expected; I was fortunate that the old water heater drain still flowed. Lighting the pilot took a little while as I guess it took that long for the gas to flow through the unit. The instructions didn’t explain that bit, so it was somewhat frustrating. Once that was done, I was surprised at how much more efficient the new water heater was at heating the water, despite the old unit having better heating specs. My old water heater sprung a leak on July 4th, and I was able to buy & install the new one same day

We are very happy with our purchase! We have lots of hot water now.

Installed three weeks ago and is working well. Had to turn temp down from plumber settings to below hot due to higher than comfortable temp out of the faucet.

Incorrect dimensions on line. Stated it was 19" wide but it is 23". Big problem.

I replaced my nine-year-old water heater with the same model that I also bought at Home Depot. Aside from the minor changes in design with minimal difficulty. Great quality.

It's holding up so far,... so good!

Good product, but Home Depot no longer honors the 12 year warranty. Even after getting a replacement authorization from Rheem, Home Depot advised that they would give me a store credit, prorated by age of ownership.
