I love this paint. This is my second purchase but in a different color. This project is painting the front door hardware including the door knocker and door handle and latch. I am asked off the area and sprayed my first coat. I waited 30 minutes to spray the second coat. After one hour I then took off all of the masking materials. It made my very old door hardware look brand new again.

Rust oleum paint has always been great quality but this spray nozzle is terrible. Spits spots of paint that you can help by wiping the nozzle regularly with a rag. Spray is inconsistent from can to can. Painted large gates and had to use 9 cans to get a semi good finish. Spray comes out with irregular volume causing stripes. Will never use this product again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Oil Rubbed Bronze Rustoleum Spray paint looks more like a metallic black than bronze to me. Much darker that the top of the can implies. The coverage is ok. I like the spray trigger, it gets less pain on my hands than the old type on top of the can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out the Oil Rubbed Bronze Rust-Oleum spray paint on an old steel table--painted orange of all colors--yuck!!! This table is still in good shape and just needed some kind of do-over. The spray comes out fine and even and is very easy to control where you need the spray to go. It took around 10 minutes to put one coat on this small table and I notice the paint is very even no dripping at all. It took around 45 minutes to be dry enough that I could flip it over to do the underside. A final coat will follow soon, but I love the color of the oil bronze--it's dark, but not black, and even has a beautiful little sparkle to it that you might see in the close-up photo. An old ugly orange table that is now transformed into something lovely. The paint feels smooth and strong--I believe this will add years to a simple little patio table!

Goes on easy, no runs, dries fast. Great for do it yourself projects.

I purchased the Titanium Silver on Sunday. I attempted to spray paint some metal pieces. The can began to leak paint at the black trigger each time it was squeezed. The paint would get all over the hand and drip down the can. I returned the spray can the next day and bought two more cans so I could finish my project. I get home and attempt to paint again. The same problem happened again. Avsolute junk.

The copper-rose color is beautiful but the can leaked horribly. I’ve never seen anything like it. Ended up getting paint drips all over our project because the trigger was leaking so bad.

Champagne Pink is definitely more of a cool pearl pink. The coverage is quite sheer, and required multiple coats. The standing mirror I did took almost the whole can. I'm including a pic so you can see the color tones compared to a more warm pink. If you're looking for a warm toned pink this is not it.

Not even close to oil rubbed bronze. There's not a single bit of bronze in it...or oil. More of a metallic glitter gunmetal. So glad I tried it with an old doorknob before doing the intended project!!

Used 4 cans of this Rust-oleum Universal style head/trigger. It has a more comfortable feel than the standard can/nozzle arrangement, but 3 of the 4 cans leaked substantial amounts of paint out of the trigger opening. Big mess. Drips on the floor and all over my hands. The design needs more work for better seals.

It’s amazing how well this looks like oiled bronze.

I like this brand. It cover well. You would not know it was spray paint once it drys.

I painted a 5 foot outdoor floor lamp with this paint and it turned out great. I had already use this paint on the lights outside of my garage and they are holding up really well and look brand new. The finish on my outdoor floor lamp was starting to fade so I bought a can of this paint and decided to clean the lamp and paint it. I’m masked off the glass areas and the on off button. I used 2 coats. It looks really nice. I have two outdoor lights on either side of my sliding glass door. They are next on the project so everything will match. I did not have any issues with the spray nozzle.

Great product. Easy to apply, no runs. Covers well, long lasting.

My go to spray paint! I somehow manage to use one paint can to do this whole chandelier! Covered so well and it’s holding up perfect. I used the satin nickel over this brass metal

Perfect color to refresh bronze color wood end tables

This product is great if you want little black specks all over your silver paint. After spending hours prepping parts to paint and applying a Rust-Oleum primer, I was severely disappointed to discover that the metallic part of this paint looks fantastic but the can also likes to randomly splatter black paint bits all over your piece. this didn't seem to change regardless of how close or far I got away from the peace while I was painting It would still flick little black bits at my part.

I love the even coverage and did not have to spray heavily. Having the primer in the paint eliminated one step. Highly Recommended.

It's a nice shade of gold; not stark like some. I used it to paint a letter "A" for my grand daughter's room.

Ended up trusting these reviews and well was hoping for a bolder more vivid metalic gold but it came out dull and light gold. Almost like light yellow/brown paint. After painting my whole kitchen table later realized my small projects I was using Ace spray paint with were coming out better. Wish I’d known earlier. I added a photo of the comparison. I dont recommend this if youre trying to get closer to a true gold platinum color.

Very poor hide and coverage for a fairly expensive paint. The finger guard on the trigger (which they advertise as preventing drips) actually causes drips on about half the cans I tried, as the fan pattern is too wide, causing paint to pool up on the lip of the finger guard, to either drip off or get blown off by the spray. I love Rustoleum's 2x Ultra Cover, but this Universal stuff is poorly designed garbage.

The paint appears to be tough & durable however, the trigger took considerable more effort to depress compared to conventional spray cans. Moreover, the paint didn't atomize like I'd expected and the spray came out weak. In all fairness, I believe the paint is thicker and it covered well.

I would rate it a 5! Went on great! Added to handles on a desk.

I used the vintage gold color. Something is wrong with this version of Rust-Oleum spray paint. I’ve been using this brand for my entire furniture project. I’ve been layering colors and this gold barely covered the others. Also, the chemicals didn’t seem to mix properly. I shook it for over a minute, but ended up with glitter throughout my entire garage, a cloud of propellant (even with ventilation) and adhesive clogging up my nose hairs. There’s also a fine layer of brown color over everything including myself. This was a waste of money and no idea if the project will come out how I wanted. I had to hold the can about 2-3 inches from the surface for full coverage. Don’t buy this.

It’s a good spray paint. I painted a 10” styrofoam ball for a North Pole project.

Color was very beautiful

The spray paint was easy to use and provided great coverage on the base of a vessel sink. The oil rubbed finish was a perfect match to existing hardware.

Worked well and not too smelly (at least to me). I used it to match the color on gear wall art pieces I have.
