Thought I'd go to a top brand pressure washer and buy a Simpson, after waiting a week for delivery, timing was OK because I needed it for the weekend....well, the box had been retaped closed, everything seemed OK, until I went to connect the hose, someone put in the cheap screw on type hose instead of the quick connect hose. Immediately called Home Depot figuring they'd tell me to just come in and switch it out for the correct hose...BUT NO, they wanted me to go through the vendor.

Very powerful, easy to start, and easy to move around.

Good engine, powerfull, starts really quick, eat a lot of gas. The lance stopped working after about 1 hour. To be able to use it I am supposed to dim the pressure. I don't think that this lance can handle 3600 PSI. Shame on Simpson.

No clue if it works, but, Home Depot will lie to you when you call asking where your items is thats supposed to have free 2 day shipping. Never showed. Called them that day to cancel order as 30 consecutive chemotherapy days were coming. HD customer support said “its already shipped awww so sorrry…” even though the order showed it had not been and UPS didnt pick up yet. No tracker. Today is saturday and i see why the boxed garbage was late… $800 pressure washer was smashed and UPS just taped

Everything works great!

The unit showed up. Instructions to assemble are terrible, luckily there’s YoubTube. Upon assembly I realized the wand is broken and I’m missing the breather cap. I contacted Home Depot who told me to contact Simpson. I contacted Simpson, the lady was helpful and said they would ship a replacement wand and a breather cap within 3 to 5 days. 8 days later, I followed up and the lady I got was worse than useless. She tells me 3 to 5 days again. She would not confirm why this time 3 to 5 days is legitament compared to last time. Now I just wait and hope 3 to 5 days one day will come to life.

It is impossible to start with any water left in the pot. You literally have to crank the machine with no water attached, then increase the RPMs and allow the water to start flowing. Then you have to completely drain it and run the pump completely dry before it will start and run again. I do not recommend this!

Not sure why reviews keep mentioning CAT pump? This model has the AAA, and it is an amazing unit.

Couldn’t have asked for more. Enjoyed working with the little powerhouse for about 12 hours. No problems whatsoever.

Just received the ALH3228, after I opened the box I realized that this must have been a returned item. First, the unit didn't have any padding, second, the unit was sitting sideways with the gas tank damaged, third, the handlebar was missing. At that point I gave up, called Pressure Washer Direct, I was told to wait 4-7 days and someone will be contacting me to possibly replace send replacement parts or possibly send a new unit. Very disappointed.

My Simpson 3600 psi gas powered pressure washer works beautifully. It did a great job on my driveway and I can’t wait to use it again in the spring.

Shipping was fast. Parts were missing contacted Simpson and they quickly shipped the wrong parts called second time and was told they were not supposed to send missing parts since the bag containing the parts appeared to have been opened but would send one time. The missing part was to hold the upper handle I decided to assemble and the high pressure coupler from the water pump to connect the hose was defective. Could not get the hose connected to the pump. Return was fast and easy

This is the second Simpson power washer which I purchased. Good quality, durable and reliable machines. Highly recommend.

The price is a bit high for a residential tool IMO, but it is a really good machine. Cleaning my driveway, deck, house, cars and engines keeps it busy.

I have a few different pressure washers, but this one best one by far! it has a great pump. and besides- its a beautiful machine.

Easy to move around, light weight aluminum. Handle was difficult to assemble, holes were not aligned properly.

The Simpson 3400 PSI Pressure Washer was easy to assemble and has an abundance of pressure compared to my old 2600 PSI pressure washer. However, the packaging of the item was inadequate and needs to be improved.

Follow instructions and it will start on a few pulls. Honda motor, Cat pump, Aluminum frame, pneumatic tires: PERFECT SET-UP. If you sit in on grass, it will stay still. It does tend to 'spin/rotate' on the driveway (one cylinder engine!) No complaints. Very happy with purchase. Make sure to order the Simpson "Turbo-Nozzle" and 50 ft hose. I almost went with the Simpson 4200psi 4gpm unit but for a home-owner this is everything you will need. I purchased an electric power-washer last summer, that now I use only to wash my vehicles. For serious cleaning, a gas unit is the way to go.
