[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this in the past and have been quite pleased. Haven't had the weather yet this year to use. This doesn't seem to melt as fast as regular ice melt, it seems to work slowly. This has not ever harmed my dogs paws, he is a little Yorkie. This does not harm plants either as the melting and water run off. Looking forward to using again this Winter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this bag of animal safe ice melt last week. I always use animal safe because I have two cats that go in and out even in winter. I worry about getting chemicals on their feet. This looks like it will be a good product to try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this on my back patio where my dogs go to release themselves. I like that these are pellets so they won’t get caught in my dogs’ paws or be drug into the house from people’s shoes. They are also safe for pets and attract the heat to keep the area free of ice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Safe Paw as a brand and they seem to care for the environment. I think this is the best ice melter. I love that it doesn't damage concrete and is safe for pets. It comes in a good size (22 lbs.) and can cover a good area. The formula seems to be concentrated and very effective.

Safe, easy to apply and reasonably efficient - it is not as efficient as other products that are more harmful, but I feel that I'm protecting the pets and my family.

Needed for small area the pups walk through getting to the backyard. This was perfect.

I wish I knew how this worked. Never installed it. Almost impossible to get a delivery from any store. Customer service doesn’t know anything. Store locations doesn’t know anything. Horrendous operation,

The product worked quite well with melting the snow while also being kind to the neighborhood pets that walk on our sidewalks. Nicely done.!

I worry about salt drying out my dog's feet and them getting sick when they lick their feet. Safe Paw safe salt is made to melt snow and ice AND keep my dog's paws safe! The pellets are better for the environment too!

It’s nice to know that while you are using something, your not harming other things.

We don't get a lot of snow and ice here but wanted it on hand just in case the weather gets bad. Want to make sure my pet is safe when walking around the property. Item came here in great condition. I feel its a safe product to use around animals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy this over and over and over again. It's safe for my dog's paws and it effectively and quickly melts ice in my yard. I use it on concrete and brick and it works great on both surfaces. It does work quickly, but you just have to use a little more than you're used to with traditional salt.
