Customer Reviews for Safety 1st Stove Knob Covers Decor Door Lock (5-Pack)

The knob covers have two tabs that takes away space for bigger knobs, leaving room for ~ 2.4” to ~ 2.5” diameter knob at most. This means that many LG stove knobs (with a ~2.6” to ~2.7” diameter) will not fit. Hopefully they can improve on the design and somehow move the tabs out more on their next design iteration.

In about 6 months, 3 out of 5 of these broke. The plastic hinge is the weak point. Only buy these if you need them temporarily, for a few months. Otherwise, a waste of money.

I don’t have small children but I do have pets. One morning I woke up to a house full of gas. My dog jumped on the stove and turned on the gas while I slept. After this happened I went to the store to buy these safety covers. This is a lesson to be shared with anyone who owns a gas stove with knobs on the fron

These did not fit on the Samsung electric stove I wanted to use them on. I will be returning these covers.

Perfect fitted and I love it

I feel much safer having these on the knobs while my two year old grandson visits for a day or two stretches. They’re modern looking, and almost blend in seamlessly with the oven. When new, he did reach out to touch them, but all they did was spin around and around, and he quickly lost interest. They’re perfect for my needs.

They were too small for my stove. Item returned!

At 1st I had a hard time getting them open. Now that I know how to use them I'm very happy with them.

These worked well until we were using the stove and oven at the same time. If the lid is open when the oven is opened, depending on the temperature of the oven, the plastic holding the pin melts and the cover will no longer open and close properly. We'version done this twice already without thinking. Wish the plastic was a little more sturdy since it will be coming in contact with heat. Otherwise really easy to use on a daily basis and install. These have worked great with our mostly non-curious, loves the kitchen and cooking 2yo.

Just didn't fit the stove. Had to return.

Yes we try the stove cover on but they didn’t fit. We’re going to have to send them back to Home Depot. To see if they have some that fit.
