The dryer is amazing. It dries the load in one cycle. So many drying options too. Best part is the wifi option so we can set the dryer to start even if we are away from home. It’s also very very quiet. If it weren’t for the music it plays at the end, it’s easy to forget you have a load in. The steam feature is amazing, no more dry cleaning for me!.

    The Samsung Smart Dryer gives the job done in much less time. There is a a fun tune that plays upon completion of cycle. Grabbing the laundry at that time means a fresh, clean load that is ready to hang/fold with no wrinkles. Even if you miss the cycle bell, a quick refresh and the laundry is set. There is a setting for everything whether it's a quick small load, a full oversized load or doing bedding. The dryer is very intuitive and adjusts settings to best suit the load you have placed in. Besides working superbly, the machine just looks great sitting there. High recommendations to add this set to your home!

      The Samsung Smart Dryer with Steam Sanitize+ in black Stainless steel is pretty awesome to summarize my experience with it. Having 7.5cu ft really allows me to dry larger loads, and allows me to wash my bedding with ease. The Steam Sanitize function is awesome. Being able to rid my family’s clothes of pollens and allergens really helps, as my kids suffer with allergies and asthma. We incorporated our Samsung dryer into Smarthings as well. Having the ability to start/stop and view cycle alerts are definitely a plus. This dryer has so many options it took several days to test them all out. I think this Samsung dryer is perfect for all families.

        Great Dryer with Smart Features

          Please ensure the dryer is not in ECO DRY mode, as this setting will reduce the power consumption of certain other cycles but will extend the length of the cycle, potentially up to 3 times as long. Eco Dry is on by default on Normal and Time Dry cycles for models with the feature. Please see these links for details.

                sensing technology sucks
                Specs make it sound super technologically advanced but Bixby is only for Android and all the phone app does is send you a notification when the cycle is complete or when it recommends that you run the self clean cycle. The app has several screens and data yet you can contol zero functions from your phone. To be clear the dryer is not app controlled-it just sends notifications. The dry/wet sensing ability is way off and unfortunately most of the cycles are sensing cycles meaning that even if you choose, for example "normal" which is a 45 min cycle, the dryer will stop sooner than that if it thinks your clothes are dry sooner. It's a great idea to save energy except that the sensor sucks. I should mention that I do small

                  Drum noise and moisture sensor broken. Scrapped
                  do not buy. excessive drum noise that gradually got worse. noise persists after several repair attempts and moisture sensor now broken causing machine now shuts off after 1 minute. total junk, i have given up with it and scrapped it after only 2 months.

                            Lots of features packed into a one machine
                            [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to upgrade from my decades old washer/dryer and Samsung fit the bill with lots of features, steam, and smart connectivity. SmartThings integration was very important to me as I have many other SmartThings devices. This allowed me to integrate it directly into my existing eco system without having to install yet another app. Also, smart integration means I get notifications when my loads are complete and integrates into my Samsung TV to tell me when it's finished as well. One annoyance however, is that smart control has to be explicitly enabled every single time. Not sure why this is the case. But my guess is that it's a built in safety feature. Possibly so you cannot remotely start the machine at a later time if the doors had been opened, preventing any mishaps if something were to climb in and close the door.

But when this one came. I was in for a real treat. I've had the machine for 6 weeks and each week it gets better and better. 1- Set up was a breeze. I had it up and connected in 5 mins. This is a major plus. 2-Digital set up was easy as well. I downloaded the app, connected, and BOOM! good to go. Although I don't use the app too often, I love know that its there. 3- capacity is perfect for my sized family. I love that I can get my laundry done sooner. This is an amazing plus 4- The controls are versatile and I love the choices of dry cycles I can choose from. I also love that there is a downloadable cycle as well. I love how simple it is to change and seeing what goes into each cycle. The lint door is large and easy to clean, The drying rack is a great addition as well and are a good size. I also like that I use the eco mode. The only thing I don't like is that inability to turn off the chime like on the washer. Maybe there IS a way I just haven't figured it out. My overall opinion is that this is a very smart machine that makes my life easy. I love the color, the size, and the versatility. I love that this machine saves me time, effort, and on utlities.

                                            Bought washer and dryer online had them to be delivered to the new house. We even paid for the installation! They didn't install properly that we saw when we first turned it on after we moved in to our new house. Grinding metal noise with smell in a few seconds after we turned it on for the first time! Called Home Depot and Samsung to explain the problem but no one takes any responsibility! Samsung claims that it is not their fault! I called 50 times but no solution! DON'T BUY SAMSUNG!

And I wanted to mention that the capacity on this is HUGE compared to comparative dryers that share the same footprint as this. With the wifi functionality we're able to start our laundry at off peak hours to save on electricity costs and adjust to having drying completed when we need. Lastly, the dry cleaning feature on this has more than made up for the purchase price of the dryer after just a few months of use. Our monthly dry cleaning bill has gone done by almost a half! The steam sanitize is an amazing feature and we're slowly leaning to using it for everything with how efficient and fresh it leaves things! Overall we're happy with our purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to our friends!
