Perfect pours. Little to no waste. Snaps on snaps off, move from one to the next easily. Easy clean up.

I have used this lid from time to time when I was doing a lot of pouring of small quantities. In particular, I was doing touch ups and was pouring small amounts of paint into a roller tray. This was perfect for that - great control of the quantity, no drips, tight seal on the paint can when closed up. It cleans up well but it will take a few minutes. If you are painting a room and likely to use the whole can up, not a lot of reason to use this. I only used on Behr metal cans so far so can't comment on it's use with the new plastic cans.

Worked great till Behr change the size a smidgen on the plastic cans. Still works on the Bher metal cans. I contacted Behr and told them I did not like that they changed can so lid would not fit. Dsod they have a spout I should have got when I bought the paint. Sent me 100!!!! Of them, but must be for the Marque paint. There is nothing on my can to use the spout. Frustrating.

Doesn't fit Behr gallon. October 2020. I would think all gallons would be about the same design/size, guess not.

One gallon reusable paint can lid with pourer works very well. I've had it for a month now. I would recommend this product.

I loved these paint can lids. However, Behr just changed the design of their paint can lids/tops. The Shur-line lids no longer fit! Don't purchase with Behr paint until this issue is solved. I'm sad.

A simple snap on fit for a 1 gallon paint can. It has a seal-able pour-spout and a vacuum release hole in the rear. Does the job for it's purpose.

No problems. Needs to stretch but fits tight. Haven not tried other makers yet

Own one of these and it works great on 1 gallon cans with steel lids. However it doesn't fit the newer Behr 1 gallon cans with plastic lids - the opening and lid dimensions of the new can are larger and don't align with this cover so you can't use this cover. On steel cans it works great so long as you 1) keep the top of the can and inside lip of the can opening free of paint buildup and 2) you make sure this lid is completely snapped on. Have used mine on over two dozen cans of paint and have never had an issue with it coming off. I like the new Behr plastic lidded cans but disappointed this cover won't work... and Home Depot isn't selling one that will work with the new plastic can.

Barely fit a Kilz can and certaitly does not fit Behr paint can. Takes a lot of effort to attach.

Even if you don't get to reuse on another can (I plan to anyway) this lid is great. I am tired of the mess when pouring, even when using the lip devices. This lid takes care of it. Some people complain about fitting it, I say it fits, It takes some fiddling, but I wouldn't expect less from a product that is meant to have a very snug fit to avoid accidents. The spout could have a better fit, but still does the job.

This does not fit on the Behr can and the home depot representative reccomendes it. Dont waste your money

Makes painting a lot less of a chore. A lot less mess than trying to pour out the can. No more paint can rim full of paint. Fair price too... Make sure this is pushed down securely from all sides of the can! One of the best inventions in the painters tools category in years. I was surprised to see this item getting such poor reviews. I haven't found any gallon cans this doesn't fit as others have stated, but I only buy Benj. Moore...so not sure about this. They should make one for the quart size too.

Did not fit new paint can

I love these lids. I always use them when painting. Does a great job preventing accidents. Easy to clean for reuse if needed. Won’t paint without these.

I purchased this and it doesn't fit on the sherwin williams cans. It is too small. I can't add a photo because it doesn't work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always hated storing half-used paint cans and usually ended up throwing the excess out or giving it to friends. This saves paint and I use a ton of it. It's very innovative and works well. It fits tightly on the lid too which is great.

for some reason this does NOT fit the behr gallon paint can, wish i would have read reviews before purchasing, guess i'll return

This lid was a perfect fit for all my gallon paint cans so I no longer need to worry about accidental over pour/spills. The lid is simple to use does fits quite snug to the paint can. The seal is good enough that I have confidence leaving it on my paint can for longer term storage. I do recommend always rechecking the seal before pouring as you can never be too careful. I also love the fact that the pour spout can be easily tucked away when storing which makes for easier stacking. I also find cleanup of the lid (pour spout) post pouring to be the most effective way of maintaining the most optimal conditions for future reuse. Definitely a quality product! I will need to pick up a few more so I won't need to continue switching from paint cans after each use.

Once I got this on the can, I found this to be a nice product. I can pour paint neatly from the can to my tray, and I don’t need to worry about paint chips getting into my paint. I wouldn’t use them for long-term paint storage, but they are great for ongoing projects. I plan to buy more of them on my next trip to HD.

I started using these red rubber paint can lids a couple of years ago. All my paints are ready to use in any amount i need with minimal cleanup. After a couple of years, my paint is still ready to use. I just wipe the spout clean after each use. The lid folds down so i can safely stack the gallon cans. It makes painting and storage a breeze!!!

Looks good, but doesn't fit the Behr cans.
