It smells clean and let me tell you the wow this product packed. My floors were beautiful. It got dog smell and cat smell out in one swoop. Second swoop over and my rugs looked brand new. I highly recommend for anyone. It’s affordable, dependable and smells good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the professional grade to clean my cream upholstered dining room chairs and it did a great job!! I love that it is biodegradable and didn't have that overwhelming scent. The chairs had your typical food and drink messes and with 2 passes took out the marks. I am extremely happy with the results.

They are in dire need of a good cleaning and I'm excited to see how this product gets my carpets clean and smelling good. Hopefully it will work on the high traffic areas because that is where most of the dirt and stains are.

I have tried multiple products, even the home remedies, and nothing worked. I tried SIMPLE GREEN because I know it does a great job on other cleaning. I'm glad I did!

I probably could've gotten the same results with cup of Dawn DWD in 5 gallons of water. Area rug smelled like dog. Trusted Simple Green name to clean the stink. After shampooing...area rug smelled like WET dog.

This was a great cleaner on our carpets. We recently acquired a puppy, so I'll say that this product was a good product to try out. I used it in a Bissell machine we acquired recently. I love the scent of this product. It's not overpowering, yet it is noticeable and pleasant. I've used 4 different cleaners so far. This one worked very well with my puppy's One and number Two. It certainly removed dirt very well, and I felt it left the carpet cleaner than others, as it rinsed out very well with extraction. I would recommend this product. I haven't had occasion to use it on heavy oils, or grease yet.

Simple Green does it again. I have used their products in the past with good results. So when my carpet needed cleaning I chose their carpet cleaner for the job. After vacuuming thoroughly you just need to spray the carpet area and let it sit. Following the directions, I let it stand for 5 minutes. Then using a rug extractor per instructions, I was able to bring my carpet to fresh clean appearance again.

Very good product at a value price level. One gallon makes a lot of solution (22 gallons claimed) so should last awhile for my sometimes messy doggies.I use the highest concentration which is 12oz to a gallon and apply with a spray bottle to the soiled areas..let sit for 5 minutes or so and scrub with brush.Follow up with a wet/dry/wet pass with carpet cleaning machine and spots disappear.Simple Green products perform and are a bargain.

We bought a carpet cleaner recently and used it with the manufacturer's recommended choice of carpet cleaning solution. The carpet seemed clean for a day or two and then discoloration reappeared in several places. I opted to try the Pro Grade cleaner from HD for the second cleaning and am so happy I did. This cleaning solution really works well. It removed soils and stains the other brand did not, and at a fraction of the cost. I find the product easy to use and comes with clear instructions for application. I am really pleased with this cleaner and its results.

If your carpets need cleaning this product will do that job! We have 2 young children, 2 dogs, and a cat. We have a need to clean the carpets constantly! This product is gentle enough that it can be used on the carpets over and over. This is a concentrate and makes 22 gallons of product for you to use. It will get out stains on your carpet and rugs. It has no scent so it does not have a cleaner odor left after using it. Additionally, it does not have bleaches or other chemicals that will alter the color of your carpet.

We have four dogs that like to run around the back yard and then zip inside a little too quick to catch them all before they make it to one of the carpeted rooms. Because of this, our carpet cleaning machine gets a fair amount of use. Some carpet cleaning solutions work as advertised, some don't; but most of them are heavy on the perfume - I guess that's so people will feel like the solution accomplished something. This doesn't have any heavy lingering scent, it doesn't suds excessively, and it cleans ground-in dirt and red Georgia clay out of light Berber carpeting really well. On top of that, I used the heavy concentration in the machine and unlike some other solutions, this one doesn't impart that weird feeling to the carpet once it has dried (it's hard to explain, but if you've experienced it before, you know what I'm referring to).

Had to do carpet in two rooms using a carpet cleaning machine. The mildly soiled areas cleaned nicely with just one use. The really heavy soiled and traffic areas still we're not satisfactory even after three attempts at cleaning on three successive days. Perhaps a pretreatment would have yielded better results?. For regular cleaning this product worked well but was not satisfactory on the heavy trafficed areas.

Simple Green consistently delivers on their cleaning products and their carpet cleaner does not disappoint. I use this in my home on a cream colored carpet in high traffic areas and it easily removes dirt and grime with one swipe of the carpet cleaner. I use the "heavy" proportion for cleaning high traffic areas and the "medium" proportion for spot cleaning or immediate clean-up of spills. It does not leave a residue with either proportion. It has a clean, neutral smell (no definitive scent, but it did seem to remove the "spilled milk" smell when cleaning that from a carpet). I don't know that the "pro grade" title makes it that much better than a standard, good carpet cleaner. Due to its "pro grade" title, I was hoping it would get out some stains that my other standard carpet cleaners could not, but it was also unable to do so. However, since the price isn't much different than a standard cleaner, and it only takes one swipe to clean dirty carpet, I would buy it again knowing I will get consistent results.

Over the years I have used various rug cleaners which have been adequate, however this one was amazingly different.....it worked. It worked on very old stains (those mystery stains in the carpet) cleaning them quite well, it did not fade or discolor the carpeting; however, if you are looking for a perfume scent at the end of your carpet cleaning experience this does not have one.

I am very pleased with this Pro Grade Carpet Cleaner. I needed a carpet cleaner solution that I could use to spot clean small areas with a small bucket of water as well as use in my carpet cleaner machine. My little Yorkie just loves the outdoors so he goes outside at least 10 times daily and brings back all sorts of leaves, dirt, snow and debris back inside with him. I am happy not to pull out the carpet cleaner machine constantly and I do recommend this product.

I have a houseful of Simple Green products. And for good reason, they are quality cleaners that perform well and don't overpower your senses! This one gallon makes twenty two gallons of cleaning solution! That's crazy good. This one bottle will last me for years! Cleans extremely well, with a very pleasant smell that's not overly strong even undiluted.
