Easy to install and seemed to have held up a leaning fence post well so far.

The quality and design were right on. We ended up not using it but that was not related to the project.

Why the spike part wasn’t more sharp and the hammering spot is too oval or round , it should be more outward and squared off , can be difficult to hammer down with , hammer .. if u don’t have a sledge hammer

Keep in mind that you technically need 2 of these per post. Is it worth 40 bucks to put a temporary bandaid on a post? I found the metal to be quite soft. You can't pound it directly from the top, or you'll bend the metal. The notch where you're supposed to pound it in is useless. Overall, it's poorly designed. You can invest the time and make it work as a temporary bandaid, but this thing could have been designed way better.

Bought these fence menders before and they’re still holding up our fence really strong and were very easy to use. I have bought more to help our neighbors with our neighbor fence. They look like they might not work as described, but they do mend rotted 4x4 wood board.

Perfect for fence posts

This is the best thing since sliced bread. EZ mender was recommended by an acquaintance after we were talking about my struggles to remove and old rotted fence post. You need a pair of these, but you just hammer them down and insert the old post and secure it. Fence repaired.

I have used these in the past and they have worked very well. I haven't installed this one but yet I'm sure it will be fine. I knocked off a couple of stars because I think it's over priced ($17) but it does work.

Great (easy and frugal) way to fix a wobbly fence post.

The problem is when you run into the concrete base around the post. Compare the price of this with the price of a replacement post. Yes, it’s more work, but it will last much longer.

I actually used them to anchor my greenhouse, but they would be great for posts as well.

Good product. Fairly heavy construction. They saved me from having to replace the 4 posts on my tiny arbor. Hitting the extended nub on the side with a sledge hammer was not the best way to install them. After experimenting a bit, I found that hitting the top of the stake with a heavy sledge by sliding it up and down against the post was the most efficient and saved the nub from getting all smashed up. Will definitely buy again when the need arises

Exceeded expectations.

Saved the day. Post snapped at the base due to rot. Key here is using a sledge hammer. Took a minute to drive in with a sledge. Installed two of them with screws in probably 10 minutes. Fence is now super sturdy. Couldn’t be happier

Product worked as advertised.

These work like a charm. Had 2 broken posts from a recent storm. Gave these a try and couldn’t be happier with them. Used 2 per post as directed, but I think you could get by with just 1 depending on your susceptibility to high winds. Now the two posts held by these are the sturdiest on my fence. Helpful to have some 4” 2x4’s to hammer on. I used a 4lb sledge. Getting them in isn’t easy but it’s better than digging up cement and starting over.
