These Glides will hopefully last, as the actual "Glide" material is the cap that covers the Screw that is used to mount it to your furniture. This cap will wear faster if it is dragged between uneven floor tile sections or on rough grout. These have been in use for several weeks and they are far superior to the original nail in plastic feet.

This is my 3rd attempt to pad the bottom of my chairs inside my tiled dining area. The other 2 were failures. I like these pads and the chairs move effortlessly across the tile BUT I still have problems getting the chairs over grout lines.also I think the bottom covers (they cover the screws) are probably prone to coming off, especially moving the chairs over grout lines, though I haven't had that happen yet (1-month).

Tried em all and these Australian made ones are the best for our heavy use chairs. I use the screws. I also use a speck of super glue to secure the snap in disc. Probably not needed except we sometimes use chairs on patio pavers. Worth the wait and I keep spares.

They work like a charm. Easy to install. Did 3 stools in 15 minutes. I pre drilled a pilot hole for the screws with a small drill bit. Sure beats the felt stick on pads that we originally placed on our kitchen counter stools. Just what we were looking for.
These are the only ones that stay on for us....
