Tree gators saved our trees!

One of the tree gators stitching is unraveling. Was disappointed. I thought it would be stronger made.

Best way to water my heritage citrus trees. I use bungee cords to hold the bags in place. I keep them in place all summer then store them away for the next season.

TreeGator was easy to install & fill - we now have a much happier tree!

Easy way to target 20 gals of water to a new tree . . . No runoff . . . No standing around with a hose . . . Bought one last year fo RV a new tree . . . Worked great . . . Bought a second one for another new tree . . .

I couldn't use the TreeGator because you can't have any branches on the bottom of the tree for 25 inches. My tree has been in the ground for 4 years but has several branches close to the ground.

Spectrum was easy to a sample. We really like the Treegator. Fill it up ones a day and the Tree is taken care of.

Tree Gator surely does help in keeping newer trees watered and Alive!!

It only lasts 9 hours. I still have to stand there in the mosquito world filling this thing. If you have a bunch of trees, maybe it makes sense. But for 2 trees you can just leave the hose on trickle till it gets soaked, then leave it for a few days. I decided to install irrigation lines. Either way, the gator bites.

Yes very nice as the zipper was good on this one unlike the first ones I bought last year

I have two trees on slopes and I have a hard time getting to them to water them. I don't have to do it daily any more. This product was a big help.

For landscaping, this watering bag fills a valueable niche. Planting trees in summer or anytime on hillsides is difficult and watering is critical to success. I use them on steep hillsides where typical household water pressure and hose couplings will not reach and I must physically haul water up

It empties out faster than I thought it would but the tree looks twice as good after 2 weeks, I fill it every Sunday. I can't wait to see my avocados this year.

It is easy to use and it slowly waters the trees. Looks well made with heavy materials. Not sure how long it will last in the texas heat/sun but will try it out.

Makes watering easy. Fill the bag once a week, and your new tree is watered. The water is dispensed slowly (no wasted run-off) and right around the tree. We will have to find out how durable they are, but only time will tell.

I have used these in the past and think they are terrific. Unfortunately, this last one I ordered had a slice in it which appeared as soon as I filled it up. Normally it's a terrific product

This is the second time to purchase the Tree gators and with local watering restrictions they are a life saver. These tree bags make watering easy and hold enough water he help in the hot summer.

In California's drought and summer heat my Japanese maples were taking quite a scorching despite bubbler irrigation. These tree bags water more evenly and more deeply than the in-ground irrigation I have, and they waste MUCH less water. I no longer use the bubblers in summer. I can water the trees every 5 days or so and they are starting to sprout new leaves where I thought the sun scorch had ruined them. The bags naturally lift up off the soil when empty to allow oxygen to the rootball soil. And they're light enough that a slight breeze easily swishes under them for the same purpose. They're also great for areas that you do not have irrigation, just make sure you have 2 feet of clearance between the ground and your first set of branches! For a smaller tree or one with height-clearance issues, I suggest a Tree I.V system (deep watering spike connected to a 5 gallon bucket) rather than the donut shaped watering bag that cuts off oxygen supply to the rootball. If your tree is bigger than 4" in diameter, you can zip together 2 watering bags to make an expanded bag. Just remember to fill both halves.

I saw this and decided to use it for planting potatoes that way I can unzip the bag when I'm ready to harvest

I use these to water the trees during the summer and they work great. Best way to keep trees watered and reduce water bill.

I only wish they made a size smaller for just planted decorative trees and such.
