when you spray the stuff on concentrated it covers an area of about 20‘ x 20‘. Therefore you have to buy several bottles of this expensive stuff. I believe it says that it takes three days to remove green algae, but can take longer for dark black algae. three days later and there wasn’t a single ounce of difference. Use a hose to wet it down and see if it removes the dead algae… Nothing. get on the roof and spray it hard with a directed nozzle and still nothing. When your homeowners association wants you to get rid of your dark unsightly algae on your tile roof they want it gone within a few weeks. Who wants to wait six months or more for something to work and have many more months of an ugly roof? I hear chlorine bleach works instantaneously and is a fraction of the cost which is what I’m going to try next.

Used on roofing shingles that had a black mold appearance. The product never worked.

I have used this before. It's a great product as long as you have 6 months to wait for results. It is the only thing that will give you these results so I keep using it.

I've used it on roofs to kill moss. It works well, some thick stuff needs 2 or 3 applications about 3=4 months apart but it will kill it !

To early to tell, it seems to work at first application. Yet to be seen.

Have sprayed the moss on the roof 2 weeks ago and the moss is brown and the rain is doing it’s job of cleaning off dead moss. It will take a while to work, but looks better already.

I initially had misgivings with this product after following directions and seeing no results after a month. However, after 3-4 months the roof appears as new and is staying that way throughout this summer. Planning to retreat this fall/winter during Tampa's dry season. Well worth the $40.

Did not perform to expectation but I say this with some hesitation. My neighbor who recommended the product said it takes 3-4 application before you see great results, so I’m still open at this point.

Followed directions to the T and did absolutely nothing. My roof still looks exactly the same. Was just a waste of my money and time.

It lightened the green but did not remove. Still need to power wash

Easy to use and effective

This hose-end sprayer CANNOT be refilled. Even if you did, it sprays at a different concentration than the gallon bottle. I got our homeowner's association to make this our standard roof-stain solution, and now I regret that. Buy 'Wet and Forget' instead.
