This is a well constructed handle. I, being 70 years old, need a helping hand (by myself) getting out of my Mustang GT Convertible ! This handle fits very well in my door's striker to give me leverage to stand up. It fits perfectly beside the seat and door for storage. The LED light in the end is brite. Batteries are included which is a bonus !! It is also strong enough at anvil end to break a windor in case of an emergency !!! LOVE IT !!

This is an outstanding and portable device to assist individuals in exiting a car or van. The support handle is exceptionally well-built and should last a lifetime. The handle inserts into the car door latch in seconds and works on both front and rear car doors. My wife and I find it exceptionally helpful when transporting elderly relatives to their various appointments. The handle provides the necessary support to allow them to both enter and exit our car without too much effort. In addition, this now eliminates the need for us to bend over and provide them the necessary support thus avoiding possible injury to our backs. The handle also contains a built in flashlight which we have already found the need to employ.

I've seen car handles advertised on TV. I didn't know there are several versions. All of them have a metal head that fits into the striker of the car door. What distinguishes The Metro Car Handle Plus from the others is the flashlight in the handle. You just twist the head of the flashlight to turn it off and on. It is well made, has a good heft and a non-slip grip. My Grandson owns a truck that I need a pole vault to get into. I can't wait to try my new Metro Car Handle Plus. It should make getting in and out a whole lot easier. Great product!

My father often has difficulty getting into and out of my vehicles. He was happy to give the car handle a thorough test when it arrived. We tried it out with the rear passenger. the front passenger, and the driver's seat. He found it very helpful in both entering and exiting the vehicle. It seems well engineered structurally. The flashlight controls are a bit odd but it does work. Over all a win for mobility. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone having difficulty with entering or exiting a vehicle; or regularly transporting someone who does. Good Job!

The Metro Car Handle Plus is an excellent addition for anyone to have in their vehicle. I have an aging parent who has problems getting out of vehicles. This handle assists in supporting your weight as you exit the car so it is ideal to build confidence to safely move. I really could have used this handle when I broke my ankle a year and a half ago. The handle easily rests in the car door latch securely and comes with a flashlight for added convenience. Follow the instructions to have the flashlight facing the front of the car.

This car handle has made getting into the car safe for my husband who has had a stroke. It stores away nicely in the glove compartment when not in use. I recommend this item.

I bought the stander and tried it . It was easy and made it easier to get in and out. Then I decided it was time I gave up driving. I sold the car in 1 day, but kept the stander. It is in my purse..

Strong, easy to use, especially works best to exit auto for elderly. Could have a little less play in it when put into the door to feel a bit more secure. Wider flange maybe?Would recommend.

Excellent product. I bought it for my husband who has had been experiencing a loss of strength which is especially important when rising from a seated position. The handle is sturdy,supports his pressure easily slips quickly in and out of the car frame ,and easy to transfer to another car. This particular model also has a light particularly helpful at night. I highly recommend it.

I bought this for my mother who has difficulty getting into and out of my car. Thought this would help. It does help to some extent ( mostly to get into the car) but it is awkward. She still needs assistance, but less of it.

This product is a great utility to keep in automobiles especially for those needing assistance in getting in and out. It is better to have one just in case and not waiting for the occasion to wish you had one. I should have had one after my knee surgeries to slowly move my body in and out of a car while on one leg either in or out. It smooth and feel solid. I would like to know if it can break an automobile glass in an emergency.

It is great because I am a recent left leg amputee getting in & out of my car & my pick up truck witch is a 1 ton dully works great.

My father is 75 years old and has both of his hips replaced, while my mother is 71 years old and has had both knees replaced. They both have difficulty getting out of the car, leaving us looking for a solution to this problem. The Metro handle is that answer. He and my mother have used it for getting out of both the drivers seat and the front passenger seat. They have had nothing but rave reviews for this product. The handle is well constructed and is extremely sturdy. It does come with a flashlight in the handle, however I don't really feel it is a necessity. After seeing how much aid it has provided to my parents I would definitely recommend this product for anyone having difficulty getting out of the car.

Okay, I'll admit it, my right knee is showing some wear. If I'm getting out of the passenger side of a vehicle, it's beginning to really get my attention. Personally I'm not having too much trouble getting out of the driver's side of vehicles (fortunately) because it's my right knee that isn't happy with me any more. But the passenger's side - especially for smaller lower to the ground cars - has become a bit of a challenge. This Metro Car Handle puts a handy handle just were I need one! It fits on the door latch easily and holds steady while I heft some weight with my arm rather than only my poor old knee. And guess what? It works! It's a simple solution to an aggravating problem. It even comes with a flashlight. I'll not brag about the light because in order to turn it off, you have to unscrew the cap a little bit. I'm not thrilled with that, although it works. But I didn't want it for that. I wanted it to help me out of a car, and it does that remarkably well.
