This was easy to assemble. I upgraded my TV from a 50" to a 65" and having the smaller Storm Shell and I was happy with that one. I upgraded to the larger one that would work with my new 65" TV.

This cover is AMAZING. I received this for my birthday in September. I live in Florida and although we did not have a hurricane this year…we had torrential downpours of rain. I am happy to say…my tv remained safe and dry. Although the cover is a bit pricey…it is well worth the money. I highly recommend buying this storm shell.

I bought this to use under a gazebo on our deck to protect an indoor TV from the elements (purchased a new TV for inside and brought a 10-year-old Smart TV outside). I had it installed professionally. Lots of small parts, so it took him about 3 hours to assemble and install with TV. It has a full motion arm so the TV can be pulled out and angled depending on where on the deck you are viewing from. We will bring the connected streaming box in for the winter, but plan to leave the TV in place with the power disconnected. I did have Home Depot price match as this item is significantly less expensive on other sites. Overall it is worth the price as adding flashing to the gazebo to try and completely waterproof the area would have been as - if not more - costly.

I set it up in my back yard without a roof with a 55" tv and had protected the tv from the hot weather and rain .

This waterproof TV cover has been the best money I ever spent. So easy to open so easy to maneuver inside. Of course I did not put it up my contractor did so I cannot speak to the ease of installation. You will not be disappointed

Excellent product. It took a while to assemble and install due to my stone wall. But once it’s up, it’s easy to use. Previously I had a removable fabric cover which was a pain to use. Now we enjoy out outdoor space more often.

Overall product does what it says. But the mounting for the TV would not work on my case, needs to have more slots for attachment options.

I have been using the Shell for about a month. It was not difficult to install, and it is very easy to remove and replace the front cover. It has a snug fit, and it looks good. I would definitely recommend it.

This is a less expensive alternative to buying an outdoor TV which the starting range in price is about $1.200 plus for a 32 inch model.

Love this shell. Great for outdoor viewing. Can use a regular TV with this shell. Areas for improvement: for a large TV, suggest that you place a screw or bolt to firmly secure to the wall.

This is an excellent addition to our laini so much funny to be able to watch TV outside & not pay a crazy price for an outdoor TV.. awesome product!! Only downside they need to provide better hardware & instructions. But i would not take away for that!!

Every nut is missing. The 2 that did come are completely stuck together. This is absolutely unacceptable. The product itself isn’t worth $40 but to also be missing piece to assemble? QA needs a new job.

Lots of pieces to put together, I wish it was partially assembled. To hang a large shell with mount is 2 person job. It looks good on my outside unprotected wall and is very effective. I love it.

I’m happy with my storm shell even though I thought the clear tv shield came with it base on the picture.

This hard cover shell is perfect for my outdoor 55 inch TV. Easy install and easy access to open and close for tv viewing.

No major complaints about how this unit is designed. I purchased the largest designed for 75" TV. The only change I would make is with the inner swing mount. This mount is attached at 4 locations. However if the TV is swung way out by extending the first and second hinge point most of the weight is on the left two attachment locations. If mounted to a solid surface (Stone, studs) then this is probably OK. I mounted the unit to a swing down mount. This allows me to pull down the whole rig to remove the cover. The swing down mount while rigid struggles to keep the whole thing from getting crooked and really stressing the left two attachment points. To fix this I had to make two modifications. First I drilled and screwed together the larger first section of the swing out to the attachment frame. This limits swing out to just the smaller section. This still provides enough room to hang a TV (at least me TV) and get fasteners in place. I pulled a cable through the back of the box and attached to the end of the small swing out section. Once TV was fully fastened I pulled cable from rear of the box to fully close the small swing out section. If the inner mount was designed with double hinges (one set attached to right hand side of frame and one set attached to left side of the frame) downward weight stress would not have been an issue. The instruction clearly describe mounting box then inner swing out to solid wall. If installed this way it would probably be fine. Fit and finish on the box was good. Lots of fasteners to join the sections of the back and front cover though. Took a couple hours to assemble. Took several more hours to hang on my swing down mount and resolve the issues. Overall I would still buy the product.

Not hard to assemble. The biggest issue were that the screws were too small.
