The duct booster fit perfectly and works great. We have it in a bedroom that is also used for an office and the unit really made the room more comfortable.

The booster did work well. The problem is that the electrical cord stick straight up about eight inches. That’s so silly! Also, it’s not thermostat controlled so you have to turn it on and off manually.

This a great duct fan.

After trying various duct-closing schemes and a plastic device that sat on the surface of the floor register to no avail, I coughed up the much higher price the Tjernlund. It works! Daughter's upstairs office, fed by 45 CFM of SILENT squirrel-cage blower power cools off just fine! Thinking of another one for the upstairs bedroom that really heats up in the afternoon sun. Worth every penny!

The booster fan more than lived up to expectation. While I wouldn't say that it is silent, I would say that it has a "quiet" hum. It is being used in a second floor bedroom where the run is a long distance from the furnace. It definitely helped to cool the bedroom.
