Real nice!
Here is a list of truck models the 2700-A fits (printed on the box). Mine is 2007 Tundra. Fits great. Can't use it with a bed cover.

Easy to assemble. Looks great on my Ford F-150 SFX 5.5 bed. Very solid. I put two 60 lbs kayaks on rack and worked flawlessly. I check all fittings periodically and all work well. Very satisfied.

THE best aftermarket product for your truck
I just bought this rack for my new(to me) truck. This is the second one I’ve purchased. What happened to my first one, you’re wondering? Well, my first Trac Rac saved my life in a rollover accident about 4 months ago. I had a sliding Trac Rac I stalked on my Nissan Frontier, and when I rolled my truck, the Trac Rac acted as a rollover bar and bore most of the impact of the crash when it flipped. The quality is excellent and I will never drive another truck without a Trac Rac on the back. I highly suggest purchasing one for your truck. You never know when you’ll need it! The second Trac Rac was just installed on my 02 Tacoma prerunner v6 dbl cab and it fit perfectly. Just make sure you have a good set of Allen wrenches.

Great Rack at a great price from Home Depot
This is a nice quality rack that is fairly easy to install. Home Depot by far had the best price on this rack, but not too many stores had them in stock. I found one at a store about an hour away. No biggie, it was a nice day for a ride. This rack fit my 2015 Silverado crew standard bed great. If you plan on carrying kayaks, etrailer dot com has foam blocks that fit over the thick cross bars on this rack. Overall, I’m very pleased with the rack.

Wonderful product. I bought it for kayaks, surfboards, etc. Went together very easily with one caveat. I had to ream out a couple of the end cap screw holes slightly to get the screws in. Very slightly. To speed up assembly, it would be good to have an allen wrench in both sizes which allowed a straight on twist, like a screw driver. I had the cheap L shaped ones. They work, but something better would've made things faster. I used the rack the weekend I bought it to take kayaks on a 150 mile drive. They didn't budge. Very easy to put together and it can do exactly what you think it can. Great purchase.

Very well built and simple and easy to install. It looks sharp on the truck and feels very solid. I initially tried to install on a 2004 Toyota Tacoma doublecab with a bed liner, but it required too much cutting of the bedliner to allow room to tighten the C-clamps. I decided to remove the bed liner and just bought a heavy duty custom rubber mat for the truck bed. So far so good. I plan to use the rack to haul some 12-foot Eddyline kayaks using foam blocks that fit the TracOne crossbars perfectly. Now I can haul two kayaks on the TracOne Rack and have room for a couple more kayaks in the bed of the truck. Now the whole family can go! I had the rack delivered to the local Home Depot so that I could inspect the box before taking possession, which makes it much easier than having to deal with a damaged shipment arriving at my door. I also saved about a $100 by purchasing the silver-colored rack vs. the black version of the rack sold elsewhere.

The TracOne truck rack is solid and sturdy when installed. I love it! After a short test drive around the local streets, I found the torque dropped a bit. I re-torqued everything a second time - and that did the trick. I bought mine to transport my kayak, and it is perfect for this task. The only objection I have (and I did not take away any stars for this gripe) is that it looks like it would be easy to steal. I thought about drilling a hole in each foot, to insert a security bolt to lock the rack to my bed - but that would reduce the load limit by an unknown amount - so I rejected the idea. The only other complaint I have is that the instructions are squirrelly. I followed them when possible, and then did what seemed reasonable when they fell short. My rack went together easily and quickly and with no real problems. All of the parts were well packed and nothing was damaged. You cannot tell from the box, so I should mention that the fit and finish of the rack is first class. Since the rack is even nicer than I expected, I have no regrets.

Pretty easy to assemble. Can do it with one person but two helps. I pre-assembled everything on the ground and then lifted them up onto the truck. Work very well for carrying ladders. That was our main focus.

          TracRac
The rack is very well made - the uprights and cross rails are high quality extrusions and all the base/corner fittings were heavy duty aluminum castings. The finish on all the parts was very good and appears it will hold up well. All the pieces went together easily and fit well (not sloppy). Once it was mounted and all the bolts tightened it felt rigid with no apparent rattles. I bought this rack so I could carry my 11' SUP in the back of our new short bed pickup. It was half the price of the major brand "sport racks" so I was a bit nervous on how the quality was going to be but in the end I'm impressed and very happy with the rack. The only thing that could have been better were the bolts. Although they are high grade bolts, I would have preferred if they were stainless steel.

          Awesome Deal
Amazing deal if you shop around for this quality you will easily pay double. I'm using it for construction projects, kayaks and a Tuff Stuff roof top camping Tent. Believe me you won't be disappointed took about 2 hrs to install and only cause my tools were not in order.

          expensive but worth it
A gift for my daughter and SO. She said it was easy to mount on her 2002 Chevy full size pickup and so far has carried her 13 ft kayaks with ease. She reports the racks are not only good quality but really look nice on the pickup also. So far a satisfied customer barring the painfully long shipping time from HD

          Solid and sturdy rack
The rack is relatively easy to assemble and fits my 2007 Toyota Tundra Double Cab very well. However, the plastic tie down blocks and the bolts associated with them were difficult to put together without cross-threading them. It was like the threaded holes in the plastic were a tiny bit too small for the bolts. Also, the screws that hold the aluminum end caps kept cross-threading. This was because the holes in the cross bars and the threaded holes in the caps did not line up just right. Two of the four caps took more than 30 minutes to get right and only then when I drilled out the holes in the bars by about 1/16 inch. The end result is an excellent, solid and strong rack. The threading problem is the only reason I did not gave this system 5 stars.

          Filled all my requirements
I was looking for an attractive rack, a sturdy rack and one which would make boat loading/unloading/securing easy. Formerly I've used clamp on roof racks. Not saying I'm picky, but the empty racks at 30 mph made more noise than I wanted to tolerate. With the racks back further I hear nothing. I shopped around, this rack was best, at a price a lot less than others. Assembly was easy.

Cant belive I didn't buy one sooner.
Sturdy yet light weight easy to assemble easy to install and it is very easy to remove. Although this is the least expensive of all Trac Rac models it really does everything a ladder rack should and does it well. I put mine together in the parking lot in under an hour.

          Very Good Product
Very sturdy and holds the 800 pounds very easily. The clamps that come with the unit are very large and cumbersome, especially if you have attached tool boxes in your bed. I had to drill and attache using bolts. Beware, The new Chevy trucks (mine is a 2014) have a different configuration for the rails and the clamps would not attach in two locations.

Fits a wide range of trucks
The rack is best suited for a full size pickup, but the adjustable cross members mean it will fit most bed sizes. The rack requires assembly using allen wrenches. Most of the main bolts have thread lock on them, with the exception of the clamp bolts. These clamp bolts need to be torqued every 5000 miles, according to the installation guide. Weighing in at 50 lbs, the all aluminum construction makes this a lightweight rack. The aluminum is powder coated to prolong life. On top of the rack are T shaped slots, in to which you attach the 4 provided tie downs. These tie downs can be position at any point on the rail. The bolt holes are roughly finished, making inserting the bolts tricky. Great care should be taken to avoid cross threading. The rack supports up to 800lbs of cargo.

Just made my truck a whole lot more versatile!
This TracOne universal truck rack has a big 2 thumbs up from me. It is one that is truly universal. I had looked at other "universal" truck racks only to find that in order for it to work with my Ranger I would need to cut things to fit or drill into my truck bed. There is no cutting or drilling into your truck bed with TracOne! This system is hands down not at all like the rest and doesn't compromise the weight load ability with adaptation. That was another negative I found with other competitive systems. It did take me a while, all alone, to assemble it completely. Had I been able to acquire another set of hands it would've definitely shortened the time. Not that this system is difficult to assemble but it is bulky trying to align things alone. The instructions are straight forward and easy to follow. I would recommend a hex wrench socket set as it would certainly speed things up and allow for adequate torque. I've already carried a bunch of 12' red oak on it and the sliding tie down loops/hooks worked fabulously. It says it also works with roof rack accessories (i.e. kayak racks, etc.) and I will be trying that this summer for our trips down the river. Very pleased!

          Impressed with fit and finish
When starting assembly, I was very impressed with the design. Often it is hard to tell between the various fasteners included. This was not the case here. Complete assembly can be made with two hex keys. All bolt types vary considerably, so there is never any confusion of what to use. I would recommend a ratchet or drill with hex key for mounting into the truck. It requires a lot of turns. Despite bolting together, the design hides all bolt ends well. It is very easy to mount on the truck once assembled. I was able to get the width close and tilt up each mount by myself with no issues. The racks look good on the truck. I have noticed no noise increase from before mounting. I track my mileage with ODB-II meters and have seen little difference there as well. I'm currently mounting the front rack up against an existing toolbox for a 5 feet between bars setup. This works fine. I'm very impressed with these. The mounts looks very nice and I find the back rack to be helpful for pulling myself into the back of the truck. The only thing I might upgrade is the tie downs. They work, but the rotary locking isn't as great as other systems I've seen. The only negatives are minor. Some of the tapped holes are a little tight. I found that turning the bolts by hand a turn or two in and out loosened up everything enough to keep assembling. It would be nice to more quickly remove these. It is available on this brands higher level slide type racks, but at 3 times the cost of these. This is a pretty good value for what you get, as long as you are not planning on routinely taking these on and off.

Good looking, high quality truck racks
These are very high quality truck racks. I found no defects in the aluminum powder coated finish out of the box. The surface is durable and resistant to scratches. The universal design makes it very easy to fit to any truck, yet when installed it looks like a custom sized rack. The adjustable features are hidden by the design of the T-slot cross members. The racks are clamped down using C-clamps that are designed to match to curves of the rack, so as not to be obvious. By using C clamps, these racks can be quickly removed with the right tool. Due to the risk of theft, it would have been better to include a security type bolt, you may consider replacing one C clamp bolt or drilling an additional hole to add a security bolt. The T-slot makes for any easy way to tie down the material. Since the two racks are separate a fork lift can be used to load long material, something that standard cab-over racks make difficult.

Very heavy duty. I think Trac plus would do well putting a paper label on cross bars indicating up or down facing direction. Even after following directions I put them on upside down. Also they should include Allen wrench (s) for the price they charge.
