Beautifully crafted!

Great Sample!

I was considering wood but upon seeing how this was made and the durability I was impressed! The sample is large enough to see what it would look like compared to others and makes it easy to make a good choice.

I built a 15' by 16' deck in the summer of 2010 utilizing Trex Transcend decking. This deck has a southerly exposure. The durability and quality of these boards are second to none. After 11 years it looks as it did the day I completed it. Aside from an annual soap and wash this deck is otherwise zero maintenance. I'm certain the deck will outlast the 25 year warranty. I could not be happier with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

Another great choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to help make a choice in what to build a new deck with. It made the decision so much easier. This sample showed me the quality of the material. It showed me it will last my life time and it showed the color brilliantly. After getting this I put it side side to another sample to pick color. It made it so easy.

Great color and solid plank
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample recently and am leaning towards redoing my dining room in this color and material. The sample would give the dining room a rustic sort of feel to it and become more "homey". The material seems solid and strong which is what we will need since we are on an old foundation. The color and natural look is what sold me on redoing my dining room.

Exactly what we want

Very durable and color is great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This decking was super heavy duty. I was surprised at how heavy just the small section I received was. It was very durable which seems like it would for sure hold up nicely in any weather. I also loved the color. It was almost a bluish gray which would look great with the color scheme I am going for with my house. Will definitely have nice curb appeal.

It seems heavy and seems durable, but when you look at the back side and edges, it appears to only be pressed wood. There is a very thin top layer for the look and I wish it was somewhat deeper. Hopefully this board is treated in some way, so that it lasts a long time. I don’t know how long it will last once the weather gets to it. It doesn’t look like much protection against water. Overall great color and seems pretty solid, just worried about how long this will hold up.

Not really my style

While the sample itself was of good quality, it was not what I would use in my home we are building. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because of the quality. Maybe others have and might even have used this, I cannot see us doing so.
