Garbage
Photos say it all. First use, first snow. Used for one hour. Absolute crap. Unreal. I don’t understand any of these positive reviews. Sorry.

Don’t buy this shovel!
The scoop flies off every time I use it and that makes this shovel a total disappointment - especially for something made it America. Don’t wast your money. The serrated parts don’t work!!!

The shovel is quite large and works well to remove snow off the ground. Something to note if you have a sedan, compact, or coupe, the shovel was too large to fit in my trunk both diagonally and horizontally but it did fit comfortably in my passenger seat.

Like many other reviews here, I picked up this shovel earlier in the year, as I needed a new one anyway. Used it for the first time today, and though it's light and has a great ergonomic handle, the front blade of the shovel is significantly curved up, away from straight. This results in about a 3 inch swath being cleanly shoveled at the middle of the blade, while the rest of the shovel leaves up to a half inch of snow stuck to the sidewalk. Poor quality and engineering that a nice handle and light weight cannot make up for.

I really like the ergonomic handle on this shovel, too bad the plastic shovel blade is a not up to the task of shoveling. After shoveling our deck from two big snows the shovel blade cracked at the base of where the handle attaches. I didn't realize this was a disposable shovel and according to the Home Depot website there is no warranty. My bad for thinking something like this would last any period of time. This may be fine for light shoveling but not when you get a good 8-10 inches of snow. This handle with a more durable shovel blade would be nice.

after 1 year complete garbage
12/25/17. After one year have become almost unusable. Tomorrow will be looking for new. The one i used last year has inch and three quarter curve in blade. Second, still with label has inch curve. You can see curve under Orange straight edge. For this price they should last for more than one season.

We moved up 6,000 feet to a Mountain Community in California. Came from the city and knew nothing about snow. Bought this Snow Shovel over two years ago and it is fantastic for shoveling while the snow is fresh and soft. Once the remains turn to frozen solid ice you need a metal shovel. Found that out the hard way when our son shoveled this past snow storm and it cracked. We liked it so much we ordered a new one right away. My husband glued the first one - holding fine. And we have used the second one already. Much easier on the back and arms then the straight handle type. Holds a lot of snow!

This is a great snow shovel that has a plastic edge so it will not damage your driveway, sidewalks or wooden deck. The handle is nice and wide so your hand will fit with gloves on. The weak point is at the part where the shaft meets the shovel it just feels loose but it can be taken apart and tightened. The ergonomic bent handle does make it easier to use.

Great value shovel
Stays very close to the ground when pushing snow, leaving no ice or sludge behind.

bent handle, bright color, lightweight, durable, use all surfaces
saves on the back, like the bright color is able to find it, lightweight, durable, you can use it on all surfaces. Nice for tight spaces.

These shovels have a very plastic strip on the edge instead of metal which does not damage brick, pavers, etc. While I use it on my wood deck I leave a small layer of snow to be cautious.
The shovel works fine as long as it’s not used for hard ice/snow.

This will probably work but it hasn't snowed since it arrived (such is our weather here). Still, I was replacing one I have had for years. It had a much more pronounced bend in the handle making it easier on the back. It also had a metal edge imbedded on the end - this was supposed to but it appears to be a hardened plastic. Probably won't last one storm with any appreciable ice.

I like the ergonomic handle. I'm disappointed that the shovel doesn't have a metal edge on the plastic blade for better wear. My last True Temper shovel had that feature and gave good service,

Nylon blade is good for clearing my Trex deck without damage but does not work at all well for scraping slush or ice from pavement.
