This door did not meet my expectations. It looked much nicer in the picture. I purchased it primarily for the Meshtec feature, and the screen is nice, but looks like added to the door as an afterthought - not the nice detailed design that I had expected from looking at the picture. The inside looks like "patchwork" with moldings not matching the door color. I found the installation instructions difficult to understand, lacking detail. The online video was a bit better, but still not easy. The door itself lacked many features that I would have expected; perhaps I should have read the small print better. It does not have a full frame; Just a "loose" bar to set on top, and no threshold or bottom - a kit is available for a hefty extra charge. I purchased the kit that was advertised to fit both the 32" and the 36" door, but had to cut it down to fit (again with poor instructions). Only the bottom of the kit could be fitted to the 32" door, the top part simply said that it would work on 36" only - again a waste of money for a pricey kit that should have come with the door in the first place. The door has many gaps that lets bugs in, so don't expect this to work as a bug screen door in the summer.

Great product for the price - Just will see if it rust in the future. Nice looking, strong, solid. My only draw back is that the Home Depot authorized 3rd party installer said he could not fix the top gap, that is almost an inch on top!

It’s nice you can see through the screen which is much stronger than normal, however the door is missing a lot of standard hardware and trim associated with a screen door. It dods not seal at the top or bottom nor does it have a wind damper. not a marginal screen door and security door.

Love this door and very well constructed

Average quality construction, but a nice sturdy screen. Installation instructions are near laughable. That said, I'd buy it again, but then I have a lot of experience as a handyman, and I like the screen. Better to check web for alternate instructions if you are installing this sort of door for the first time. Or hire a professional. Do not install the one-way screws until door is exactly where you want it. That is, completely install the door with regular long and smaller diameter screws before removing them, one by one, and installing the security screws. Or don't use the security screws at all.

Nice door. The store had the 36 inch marked as 32 inch. So when my installer went to pick up what I thought was 32 inch door, all they had was a 36 inch. We had to order and it took 2 weeks for that 32 inch door to come in. It doesn't come with the stripping for the top and bottom. You have to order/buy that separately. They should include these or inform the buyer at the time of purchase. There are 1 inch gaps at the top and the bottom and the door doesn't fit tightly. If I would've known I needed these, I could have bought them and had them ready for the installer. Now I have to go back to the store AND call my installer back. Time wasted. Good door otherwise.

Love this door - really sturdy and doesn't look like every other security door. The only issue was there was a dent in the screen but may have been caused by the installers. Not big enough deal to rate lower.

Very nice screen door. Sturdy and doesn't make a lot if noise when you close it. Well worth the money. Easy to see through, almost looks like nothing is there.

This door was a replacement for a damaged one. The first one had a major forklift dent, just above and to the side of the knob. This one also had damage, in the same area. Not a severe, but we needed the door & kept it anyway. Your shipping department needs an overhaul. Maybe some training in running a forklift, without smacking the product.

Nice door for added protection.

First door we ordered came with a dented frame. Finally got a replacement and Im very happy. The door does have some gaps in construction so for the dent and gaps Im dinging one star. The MeshTech screen has double the visibility of other security doors. We shall see if it rusts in a coastal environment. Manufacturer says not.

I wanted a "security" screen door that didn't look like one and that would let air in. This is a good solution - the Meshtec material is secure, the pets can sit at the door and watch the world go by, and we can pull in the cool night air with a whole-house fan. It doesn't completely obscure our lovely entry door when looking at the house, either. The only problem is that only the "standard" size of lockset fits on it (so I could not use a lock with a punch-in code)., and the door knobs line up exactly with the knobs on the entry door and they bump into one another. I have to go get a different knob for the entry door now. Bummer.

Extremely easy to install.

We ordered this door and received it within a few days. The build of the door itself seems solid and beefy. It is not flimsy at all. Another review mentions gaps at the screen stay’s corners, and I noticed that immediately too. It would have been better if they were welded but they are mechanically attached to the frame so I think the gap is intentional for expansion. I don’t mind it since it is behind the screen. If it bothers some folks you can put some sealant on it. I actually bought sealant to address gap between frame and wall because my wall is not true. in order to install the doors true we had to have a wedge on one side. Bought standard deadbolts and works perfectly. I ended up buying the door sweep from the same mftr. Easy to install with self tapping screws and matches the finish. Tip, it is very heavy so I am glad we had it shipped.

Overall this is a very nice door but the workmanship is not quite as good as you would expect for a $400 screen door. The trim on the screens has gaps at the corners and in spite of being very well packaged it had some bad gouges on the hinge side of the frame that will need touch up paint. They mention maintaining a 1/8" gap at the top frame but you can't set if any less than 3/8" on the one I got which means installing some sort of weather stripping to keep out the bugs. The box says there is a bottom seal kit available but Home Depot does not list one for sale so I will have to find one on my own or make one.
