Although this base trim looks pretty good when installed, cutting it to fit is really awkward, due to the shape of the parts. A fine tooth hacksaw seemed to work best.

many of my original base trims broke in the winter when shoveling snow. didn't want to have to remove the rails to get a new base on so these adjustable ones worked out well!
