Mulch right color and easy to apply in my flower beds . I do however dislike some of the bark and twigs are very big.

Color is terrible. You can see the difference from bag to bag. Purchased 18 red bags and some weren't even red anymore.

not so good
Purchased 40 bags online. Guys were nice enough to load it into my trailer. Family has dispersed about 15 bags in mulch beds. Most bags have mold in them. Now looking into it deeper I purchased the Vigoro bags that are 2 cu ft. These Scotts bags are 1.5 cu ft. No matter what this scenario is really bad. Hope all the mold doesn’t hurt my plants or animals. What am I supposed to do?

Rocks
This mulch is not red. It's very dark brown. It was full of rocks, and I don't mean just little rocks. The stones in the bags were as big as our border rocks. We bought 20 bags. We will not be buying these again.

Rocks rocks rocks
There are just so many rocks in these bags of mulch is ridiculous. We bought 20 bags of rocks and I mean of mulch and I would say of the 20 bags 2 bags were filled with rocks. Big rocks. That’s how many rocks were in each bag, I will be buying these.

Some bags have chips others are shredded
I bought 60 bags at three different times, the first twenty bags contained chips. A large proportion of the second purchase contained only shredded mulch which didn’t match what I’d already installed.

Large Chunks, trash pieces
Had lots of trash pieces to pick out, not a huge deal for the price but found quite a bit of broken glass. More large chunks than I have noticed in previous years—bigger than a baseball, better for large spaces versus small gardens close to house.

Full of rocks and trash
Dumped out a few bags and began spreading only to notice there’s tons of rocks. TONS of rocks, no wonder the bags are so heavy. There’s also countless plastic bags etc. shredded up. That I can live with picking some out it happens but this photo is how many rocks I picked out just in the first 3 bags.

Look for random objects first
It’s a great mulch for the price, but be aware that you may find trash in the mulch. Wasn’t a big deal to me, I just picked it out as I went along, but some people may be surprised but what they see in the bag. Others have said this as well. I got maybe 6 bags and half of them had trash, incliding a nail, tin foil, small plastic of various sizes and colors. You can probably buy bigher quality mulch, but I’d still buy again because I pull it out hand by hand anyway.

Not real mulch, other garbage
I bought this mulch thinking Bihari is pretty good product. Bought pure black z. There were so many crap pieces in it and 2 days later it’s a gray brown. Never again . So much for color guarantee

unprofessional delivery
Delivered wrong pallet had to point it out that our order was on the truck, scraped my pavers loading it and ripped the bottom bags of mulch open. A classic example of someone who doesn’t like his job.

Terrible Quality! Filled with trash.
I am not one to leave a negative review but this is unacceptable. It’s an hour drive for us to get to our nearest Home Depot making an exchange or refund a huge pain. We bought this same brand last year and received black wood chips (which is what was expected). THIS year however, we received big chunks of wood, branches and TRASH. Pieces of garbage and plastic in every bag that I have had to go through and pick out. Disappointed to say the least. Save your money!

Mulch had sticky yellowish substance and fungus
We bought this product at Del Rio store when we opened the 5 bags in the yard and began spreading it there was this awful yellowish sticky sludge like substance and also what looked like mold. It was that way though out the bag. Unfortunately we are now stuck with getting rid of it as it isn't something one would want in their yard with kids, pets and plants that could be affected health wise by it. Store gave us a refund but still our time, gas and having to get rid of it were our loss. :(

Black mulch
I purchased 24 bags of this black mulch yes it is black when it comes out of the bag but after a couple days it turns brown , so much guaranteed color like it says on the bag . The picture shows the difference of the left 2 days old the right is fresh today

Don't waste your money
Bought 20 bags of brown mulch to use in plant beds in my yard. It's been in my yard for 3 weeks. Looks brown when it's wet, but looks like old, tired brownish-grey mulch when it's dry. Won't ever buy Vigoro products again.

Color was gone in one day!
I put the black mulch down on a afternoon it ended up raining right after. I kid you not the next day most of the color was gone! Definitely didn't last 12 months like it says. Highly disappointed

Black Mulch More Like Brown
I purchased a number of bags of black mulch. To my surprise it was more brown than black. In many of the bags the mulch had a number of white pieces. Not sure if it’s mold or what it is. I’ll probably end up using a mulch dye to get the color I thought I purchased.

Mulch was fine, delivery was the worst, open bags and colored water covered my drive way and I had to pressure wash the whole driveway because the driver just throw open bags and chips everywhere, will never use home Depot delivery again

Vigoro is my preferred mulch for vegetable and flower Raised bed and Elevated bed gardening. It holds up very well to the Arizona summer heat.

Inferior mulch
This mulch is actually coarsely chopped wood with a tint of brown. Too many big pieces, big chucks with some rocks thrown in along with white mold. Mislabeled as being premium.
What upsets me even more is all the additional extra work and time this will cause me.
Home Depot should be ashamed to sell garbage like this and to label it premium!
