FLEXiO 3000
Thank goodness I got this to paint a Pergola I built. It would’ve taken forever with a brush. If you follow directions and use appropriate paints and thinners the finish is flawless. Thanks Wagner!

Just what we needed. We went to Texas to do maintenance on a rental my wife owns. We traveled to the HD in Greenville, selected the stain and trim paint and then a 110 volt portable air sprayer. After reading the materials that came with the sprayer and the recommendations on the stain and paint cans, we took the air sprayer back for an airless one. There were several choices and my wife found reviews on her smart phone while we were standing there looking at them. The Wagner was rated pretty high so we purchased it that comes in a handy carrying case.. Without masking I was able to get pretty close to trim pieces with the larger sprayer and even closer with the smaller one. I could finish up with a brush. One can switch both sprayers from horizontal to vertical patterns as well as control the amount of the stain/paint and the air volume. Neither the stain or paint required thinning and the Wagner did great with both the thin stain and thick paint. Both are light weight that allowed me to stain and paint the highest points on the house more safely and with more confidence than using a brush trying to hold a paint can. Clean up was a breeze, dismantling the paint units and placing them in soapy water. Only downside was the need to refill the containers, but that was to be expected. Highly recommend this product,

Good for small projects, not for painting medium to large rooms
I used it to paint a mesium sized room today. Good things include your ability to control the flow of spray and the material. If you make a mistake while painting you can stop and correct it without running into any serious trouble. Bad things include change over time as you have to refill the canister with paint. This also results in paint drying in the nozzle resulting in frequent nozzle clean ups, otherwise the sprayer starts spraying thick drops of paint. The trigger is hard and the fingers start aching after a while. Overall weight of the unit is heavy due to paint and i had to use two hands to get the job done. This thing can give you carpal tunnel. Useful tips - keep moving your hands while spraying otherwise you'll over spray your project. Cover everything in the room because this unit results in a lot of dust or spray particles. Never use it without a mask. Ensure proper ventilation. Cover all doors and windows. Keep a couple of tags or towels handy. Watch the tutorial from Wagner and get the nozzle extension of you can to avoid going up and down the steps ladder.

Thanks for your review and advice about the sprayer. The 3000 model weighs 7 lbs without paint in it, that is why we make the 4000 model, it's gun only weighs 1 lb without paint because we separated the turbine. As for the useful tips...they apply to any paint sprayer you use. Great advice! Good luck with your projects. WagnerSprayTech

Best option for Pergola and fence stains
Fence and Pergola stained in 4 hours for fence and about six for pergola. Each would be easily double or triple that time by any other method. Physically the effort is minimal compared to other options. Clean up was not bad. Just be sure to keep the nozel clean with damp cloth while using to prevent clogging.

I bought this product after I started rolling the stain on my newly built shed. Rolling was taking too long. This product saved me time and money. The stain went a lot further in the sprayer and I got better coverage. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this 3 months ago to help with painting my children's room. I also ended up purchasing Wagner Control Pro Gravity-feed Paint Sprayer to do my exterior of my home. I love both products. I recommend the spray tech for smaller projects but for the bigger, the Control Pro is it.

I decided to repaint the shutters on my house but wasn't looking forward to painting them by hand. I purchased the Wagner-Flexio 3000 and I'm so glad I did. Instead of hours of hand painting the process took minutes, the clean up was just as fast and the results were excellent. I highly recommend this product.

                  What a time saver!
I bought this sprayer a couple of months ago to repaint an outbuilding. It did an awesome job. It actually took longer to set up/move the ladder and reposition the extension cord than do the actual painting. My favorite part using this sprayer is the ease of cleanup - ten minutes max and you're done!

                    Great Sprayer
The project was to paint the kitchen cabinets. While we were at the paint shop it was suggested that project would go quicker and the finish would be better if the paint was sprayed rather then brushed and rolled. I hadn’t sprayed anything since shop class in high school, but ok let’s do it! I purchased the Flexio 3000 and I’m so glad I did. The Flexio is easy to assemble and after some practice I was ready to go. The Flexio worked great, saved me a lot of time and when I was finished, clean up was easy! Painting the kitchen cabinets was a great improvement made easy by my Flexio 3000!

Easy to use, great performance and fast clean up
I bought the Wagner FLEXIO 3000 based on a recommendation from a professional painter. We used it to both prime and paint a 70’s era basement with dark brown paneling. The sprayer was easy to learn how to use, and even easier to use. Made a dreaded painting job a piece of cake to complete. Clean up was very easy and quick. I highly recommend it for beginner painters and professionals.

                            Great for trim
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an owner of a Flexio 890 HVLP paint sprayer. I have used that system over 500 times and would probably be considered a power user. The folks at Wagner have asked me to evaluate their Flexio 3000 system. Since the 3000 system shares some significant similarities with the 890 I was definitely interested. Starting with general comments, the 3000 consists of a power unit, a detail sprayer for small jobs and an iSpray nozzle used primarily for walls. The power unit is handheld and compact and attaches directly to the sprayer nozzle without any additional hoses. From the tip of the nozzle to the end of the power unit, the assembly measures 12 to 14 inches long depending on which nozzle is attached. This means that any job that intended for the 3000 must be easily accessible without any confined spaces. Painting in between shelves or inside of cabinets may pose some problems. The 3000 is a very quiet system. The system only runs when the trigger is pulled. Detail Sprayer: The material for all jobs that I will use the 3000 on will be either water based or water borne paint. On 5 jobs, I was shooting primer. I shot a heavy solids primer similar to Zinseer or Kilz, followed by Behr 75. In all of the jobs, I used the detail sprayer and adjusted the material flow. I left the power unit setting at min. The unit did an excellent job at laying the primer down. There was no problem shooting the heavy solids primer but, I did cut it. One thing I did notice was that the unit was heavy and caused my arm to tire after a while. On the next series of jobs using the detail sprayer I sprayed a satin enamel. The 3000 laid down an excellent finish on each of the jobs. One thing I noticed compared to my other system was that the finish laid down by the 3000 is much less susceptible to flashing. This makes it a good tool to use on doors and trim. I was impressed. Pattern width control is not part of the detail nozzle design and would certainly be a plus if added. Clean up of the sprayer really doesn’t take more that a few minutes. I don’t usually spend more than 5 minutes, but I have had a lot of practice. PROs: Excellent finish, quick to assemble, easy to clean CONs: Heavy, work must be easily accessible iSPRAY: I did several jobs using the iSpray nozzle. I am familiar with this nozzle as I have done many jobs with an earlier revision of it on the 890 system. One of the changes that was implemented on this revision of the iSpray was the material flow control. It has 12 numbered positions which make dialing in the proper flow easy. Some additional changes were made on the nozzle itself which I assume were aimed to eliminate the stippled finish of the earlier version of the iSpray. I wasn’t able to confirm this since I was painting textured walls. For my jobs, I was shooting both PVA and latex wall paint. I had used both of these paints before on my other system. I prepared the paints by filtering and cutting. I started with a small amount, 500 ml. I left the power unit on min as a start and dialed in the material flow from 1 to 4. Although there wasn’t much paint in the sprayer, the unit became heavy after a short use. It would be very tiring using this while working on a ladder especially with a full sprayer. My paint strokes with the iSpray did not start smoothly. Each time I pulled the trigger, the nozzle would spit. Normally, I would expect spit if the paint wasn’t cut properly. That wasn’t the issue here. I attempted to eliminate the problem by adding power. I tweeked the power setting from min up to 3. That did not fix the spitting problem. All it did was cause the unit to consume more paint. Paint consumption has been an ongoing battle between me and the iSpray. At power = 3 and material flow = 4, the 500ml I had loaded in the sprayer didn’t last long. I encountered an additional problem with the iSpray that did not manifest with the detail nozzle. This was a delay in material delivery between trigger pulls. With the detail nozzle, the type of work being done generally involves quick strokes in rapid succession. With the iSpray, the strokes are slower and the time between release of trigger to pull of trigger is usually a few seconds longer compared to the detail sprayer. With each new pull, there was a noticeable delay between the time I pulled the trigger until the time the paint started spraying. It was only a second or 2 but I had already started the stroke. Clean up was similar to what I am used to. The entire process took only about 5 minutes. PROs: material flow much easier to adjust on this revision, clean up is easy CONs: Heavy, spits, excessive paint consumption, flow delay Overall: I like this system with the detail sprayer. It is very quick to set up and lays down an excellent finish. Clean up takes just a few minutes. I highly recommend the system for jobs compatible with the detail sprayer. I do not like the system with the iSpray and don’t recommend it at this time.

                              Easy to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to spray a dining room table that I was refinishing for my dad. The table had some water damage and because it wasnt real wood, I had to take putty and wood filler across the entire top of the table. Once sanded and cured, it was time to paint! The was extremely easy to load and use with nice even strokes. I had to get into the groove of the strokes so it spread evenly and tilting in different directions only caused the paint to run a little after a while but nothing to take away from its usage. I would say it was more of a gravity thing. Project turned out well and it was fast and easy!

                                Paint up to 10X faster
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Wagner Flexo sprayer. I got the Flexo 3000 to supplement my Flexo 590, which I still use. Like the Flexo 590, the Flexo 3000 comes with two nozzles; one for big surface projects (walls, ceilings, siding and fences) and the other for small projects and fine finishing (cabinets and trim). It has the power to spray unthinned coatings and comes with a sturdy carrying case for easy storage and a 1 Year Limited Warranty. I can paint up to 10X faster using the Flexio 3000 than with a brush or roller. I re-stained a stockade fence that literally took me weeks to stain with a brush in only two days. Weighing only 3.6 lbs. (empty), it’s relatively lightweight. Add another pound or so for 45 fl oz of paint or stain. Because I used a premium oil-based translucent stain rather than a water-based Latex stain, clean-up requires the use of mineral spirits and takes about 30 minutes – about what it took me to properly clean the brush. I like to keep my tools looking new, so I probably spend more time thoroughly cleaning them than most users do. I found using a “Mineral Cup Liner” makes clean-up a lot easier. Pick-up a couple of “Cone Paint Strainers” to filter the stain -- you'll thank yourself. Even though there is minimal overspray, don’t forget to wear latex gloves and a good quality respirator mask. Set-up is easy. There are only four adjustments on the Flexo 3000. After watching a couple YouTube videos and spending about 15 minutes spraying some scrap pieces I was able to find just the right combination of settings. The key is to be patient and avoid spraying the material on too thick, which only results in orange peel, sags and runs. Several light coats work best. Maintain a constant distance from the work surface and move your arm, rather than your wrist, while overlapping about 20%. I’m very pleased with my Flexo 3000.

Paint flowed smoothly and job was done in just a few minutes. I absolutely also love the storage case its a hard plastic and I can put everything away in it.

We purchased this product to paint our wood kitchen cabinets. We do love the finish, but there is a significant amount of overspray especially in small areas. We did use the small one when doing the tighter areas and that helped. The large container did quite a bit of dripping and sputtering when we tipped it too far one way or the other. We would still have purchased.

We were all excited to try the product but it feel short of our expectations. The paint sprayer clogs up often and trouble shooting is endless. The manual has a troubleshooting section that is somewhat helpful but sometimes what it tells you to do doesn't work. We spend more time cleaning and trouble shooting then the job itself. We called the 800 line and they were helpful. Once we were able to get it to work it worked great and definitely faster then painting. We have had the product 2 weeks. It's a great workout for the arms because the sprayer with the paint gets heavy.

                                      Great tool for the pricepoint
The wife hated the original color of our cabinets. I wanted a professional look (i.e. no brush / roller marks) without having to pay a professional to come in. I took a gamble on the Flexio 3000. I sprayed the doors and drawers in the garage, and then sealed off the kitchen and taped off EVERYTHING and even sprayed the cabinet bases on the wall with the finish nozzle (water-base alkyd paint along with having doors open and exhaust fans made it manageable to spray inside). I was very happy with the final look of the cabinets. There isn't a brush stroke in sight.

I received the Wagner Flexio 3000 for Christmas 2018. I have painted my kitchen pantry and still in the process of painting my kitchen cabinets. It does an excellent job as far as putting the paint where you want it. The fine finish is even and I'm so please with the results. The projects look as if they were professionally painted. The amount of time to paint is about a fourth of what it would take me using a brush. I'm looking forward to using the Flexio 3000 for more projects I have on my list.

Excellent tool! Easy to use and clean up. Only thing i would gripe about is the weight of unit when loaded with paint. The weight is not a problem on small jobs like a single room, but if you're doing multiple rooms and tall walls it tends to get heavy. The unit sprays really well and if you use good paint (Behr Marquee) it will cover in one pass. I have had this tool for 2 weeks and have used it a lot. The quality of paint spray is great and accuracy is dead on. Another great feature is that you don't have to switch tips to spray vertically, just twist the tip!

I used this to spray heavy primer and it did it without hesitation. The sprayer gun disassembled easy for proper cleaning. Highly recommended.

                                              Best sprayer I've ever purchased
I bought this to save time on a job painting a composite foundation. The job would have taken days with typical brush and roller. But with the wagner flexio it was done in 45 minutes. Great product I would recommend for anyone.

My first paint sprayer, and it's a good one.
I had a couple jobs planned for my house, including touching up a bedroom with existing good paint (scratched and blemished from recalcitrant Command adhesive strips), and later my old kitchen cabinets. I have always used rollers and brushes but I wanted to try a sprayer because I've heard the results are good. It took longer to mask off the room than it did to paint - seriously took maybe half an hour to paint the whole works. I was really happy with the way I was able to blend in the torn topcoat where the adhesive ripped off the old paint - I don't think I could do that with a roller and get the same result. One thing I didn't expect was the volume of air this tool puts out. It's a LOT OF AIR! I had not masked the floor well enough and the light-duty plastic sheet fluttered until I weighed it down. Definitely going to tape that down next job. For cleaning - it was a pleasantly simple process that didn't leave my fingers coated in paint. Hooray! Disassembly was easy and since I used a latex paint, I washed the parts out in my basement laundry sink after spraying out a container's worth of water. It probably took me the same amount of work to clean this sprayer as it would take me to clean my brushes so I count that as a win. I'm looking forward to using it on the cabinets next. I didn't use the small container yet since I'm doing larger jobs but I may use it in the spring/summer outside for some outdoor work. I definitely think it has enough power to do work outside. Lastly, the storage case that the sprayer comes with isn't one of the crummy ones that's going to fall apart. It holds the sprayer and accessories reasonably compact and I had no trouble storing it.

                                                  Very happy with my purchase
I recently purchased the Flexio 3000 to paint custom kitchen cabinets I build in my house. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and must admit I was very hesitant at first and to be honest a bit worried about what kind of results I get from the sprayer. But that last thing I wanted was the cabinets to be painted with a brush and roller. I dreaded thinking about the time it would take to paint them by hand and knowing how poorly the results would look. The project stalled for a few months while I debated what to do. I contemplated hiring the job out. But finally decided between the cost to hire out the job and the fact I had worked for a painter not that many years ago I should just do the painting myself. I have an older Wagner Sprayer (20ish years old if I had to guess) that I only used a couple of times. It required the paint to be ‘thinned’ and I never seemed to get good results from it… but admittedly I gave up rather quickly on it and haven’t tried it again since. It’s still in the original box. Lol I thought about giving it another try but decided against it. So, with some trepidation I purchased the Flexio 3000 and decided to give Wagner Sprayers another try. Not having to ‘thin’ the paint was one of the biggest ‘convincers’ for me. Once I got the sprayer home it took a while to decide which nozzle I wanted to use. After watching a few of your videos on YouTube I decided to go with the larger one since I had a lot of cabinets to paint. I have just one coat of paint on them so far but can’t get over how happy I am with the results. The sprayer was easy to use and adjust and even the cleanup was simple. The paint coverage was even, and I haven’t found one drip on the cabinets yet! Wishing I had purchased the sprayer sooner and honestly can’t wait to use it again!
