          Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for reaching out to us. The FLEXiO 2500 and 3500 are the new, upgraded units to the original FLEXiO 2000 and 3000. The new units are very similar and offer the same capabilities as the original models. The main difference is that the FLEXiO 2500 and 3500 feature a compact, lightweight design that greatly reduces user fatigue and makes it easier to handle when spraying. The FLEXiO 2500 is 20% lighter and the FLEXiO 3500 is 10% lighter when compared to previous handheld FLEXiO models. They also offer a convenient side mounted on/off switch for one handed operation. Please give our technical support a call at 1-800-328-8251 if you need further assistance.

A:  There are a couple of O-rings where the lubricant is used. The largest is on the spray unit where it attached to the power unit. If I recall correctly there is also one in the nozzle component. Generally if you see an O-ring periodically apply the lubricant.

              by|Aug 10, 2022

A:  Thank you for reaching out to us. Petroleum jelly in the box is for the nozzle seal and O-rings. Both of the nozzle seal are locate behind the nozzle or in the back of the nozzle. In the back of both front ends ( big gun and smaller gun) there are O-rings need to be lubricated before putting away for storage.

Q:What paint do you use for this sprayer? Do you have to thin it or do they sell paint specifically for it??

A:  I have used various Behr paints in the standard sprayer and found no need to thin the paints. Have found that running the paint through a filter produced better results. Have not used the fine sprayer.

A:  Thank you for reaching out to us. The FLEXiO Series will spray water-based or oil-based household paints and stains. Do not spray or clean with liquids having a flash point of less than 100ºF (38ºC), reference the paint can. Flash point is the temperature at which a fluid can produce enough vapor to ignite. The first is the iSpray Nozzle/assembly (the larger one). It will spray some unthinned coatings including latex paint and stains. It is ideal for big surface projects such as spraying walls, sheds, fences etc.. It will provide a roller-like or slightly stippled type finish. The other is the Detail finish nozzle/assembly. It is used on fine finish projects such as spraying cabinets, furniture, doors, trim etc.. It will provide a smoother, finer finish than the iSpray Nozzle. Depending on your material, the Detail Finish Nozzle may require some thinning of your material in order to spray properly.

A:  Based on the information we find here, you should read through this - https://media.benjaminmoore.com/WebServices/prod/assets/production/datasheets/TDS_WR-1XXX/20201008%20WR-1XXX_TDS%20EN.pdf The INSL-X should spray well when using the iSpray front end nozzle. Keep the power at maximum and reduce paint flow to control spitting. Although, some spitty paint on this project is not an issue. For more encouragement contact us at 1-800-328-8251.

A:  I used to paint wall with lanco Dry coat and doesn’t work right and you feel the gun getting kind of hot, used to paint metal fence and works very good. Also try with sealer pain and it’s to thick for the gun doesn’t spray it. Then put some dilutions to the pain and works great

A:  The straw in the cup is vertical. The nozzle does not have the ability to turn up to the ceiling. If you aim the nozzle up at the ceiling I believe the straw would not take in paint.

A:  Thank you for reaching out to us. Flexio 3000 can be use with ceiling paint. For ceiling application, As long as the sprayer is not tipped more than a 45 degree angle using the Flexio handheld Material could get into the turbine and performance can be decreased.

A:  I used it to paint to inside tops of the cabinet shelves we built. The straw has an Engle?s end that you can twist around to the front or the back of the bottle?..it worked fine spraying upwards.

A:  I’ve never used for ceiling. I had paint leak once when I held sprayer at an angle. It could have been because of the plastic bag used in the canister. Just fyi, I have to thin paint for sprayer. Works great otherwise.

A:  I think it would be challenging to get good results on a ceiling. It may be better to get a sprayer with a upward ceiling nozzle, or see if an adapter is available for this model with a flexible nozzle.
