    Works great and easy cleanup
Bought this to stain our fence (under HOA orders :-) You can see how the paper wasps had stripped area of the fence in the photo. The only difficulty was the steep slope behind our fence. The sprayer worked great and was especially great at getting the board edges through the gaps between the main boards. My neighbors stained with brushes which worked OK except they struggled to fill those gaps between the boards. The instructions for cleaning the sprayer were very good and using soap and water it cleaned up very well.

        Easy Use!
I bought this about a month ago. So far I have used it to paint doors and trim. Trim turned out excellent with the detail finisher. It was quick and cleanup was a breeze. I used latex which was an easier cleanup but took a little practice to dial in the sprayer. I did not thin the paint (Valspar). I also used an oil based paint which was a little bit messier (because of the nature of the paint) but turned out as good as the latex. I like the flat look it leaves instead of brush marks. The doors were touched up a little because I put the paint on thin. Still learning but I think it came out good. Highly recommend to speed up the process and avoid a pain of the pain in painting.

Super easy to use and clean!
I bought this because I had some painting projects that I've been putting of. I knew that Wagner makes great products, so I did some research and decided on the Flexio 3000. I liked having both a sprayer and a finishing sprayer with the product. I refinished some cherry end tables. I stripped the tabletops and drawers to their natural cherry finish, then painted the legs and body flat black. I completed the project this a few coats of polyurethane. I just say that came out great. The sprayer was easy to use, but the best part was the ease at which it cleaned up! Just followed the cleaning instructions, and voila! it's ready for the next project!

You won't believe how much time it saves
I bought my FLEXiO 3000 after having a fence built this spring. Previous fences and sheds I stained just using a brush, but I had heard great things about sprayers and reviews and recommendations led me to Wagner's line of sprayers. I couldn't believe how fast it helped to get the job done. And clean-up is easy as well because of how the sprayer can be dis-assembled. So happy with this purchase!

              My first sprayer
I bought this sprayer a couple of months ago and I'm so happy with my purchase! I'm a do-it-yourself type of gal and this sprayer is perfect for my projects. I recently painted all the doors in my house and a built-in in my guest room. The finish came out so well; I will never hand paint doors again! Not only did it turn out great, but the time I saved with the projects was amazing!

Would not recommend Broke with in 5 minutes of using
Purchased this Wagner Sprayer at Home Depot in Lees Summit MO and paint to repaint a room. Today we get it out, read all the instructions and follow the directions. We start using it and it is working good, nice even spraying and covering the wall very well. About 5 minutes into painting the whole end piece with the spray gun and paint reservoir breaks off and lands on the floor. Paint everywhere what a mess. Now my issue is I cant find my receipt now so I cant take the thing back. We pressed it in just like it said and twisted it into the lock mode. Was spraying and heard a pop and it fell off and landed on the floor. So now out 169.99 and wont buy another one.

so I bought the 3000 4 days ago and used it to paint my buddies siding it was very easy to use I have never used a sprayer before but but the one question I have is when I was cleaning the unit I noticed that paint had leaked into the main unit itself i tried to clean it out but can't get to it is this normal ? Personally I don't think it is but thought I should ask i would appreciate any thoughts thanks

Thanks for your review. The Flexio 3000 should only be tilted up, up to 45 degrees or there is the possibility of paint running backwards into the turbine. If this should lead to trouble, contact us at 1-800-328-8251. WagnerSprayTech

With a little set up and testing we were able to get great results. It did take some getting used to keeping a consistent coverage.

Saved me from a miserable experience....
New power washer created a major "honey-do" list. Time not just to refinish the deck, but why not the whole fence as well? Stain was a fairly thick oil base semi-transparent. Started the fence on a fiercely hot summer day, using a hand pump sprayer "designed for stain". Struggled for an entire afternoon, with a pathetic trickle of stain, and LOTS of brushing. Promptly went the next morning and bought the Flexio 3000. Very straightforward instructions, easy adjustments for pressure and flow control, and boom, off we went. This thing laid down stain like a champ! Got more done in 1/2 an hour than the entire previous day. Fast, even coverage, minimal backbrushing, couldn't have asked for a better performance. Pretty simple cleanup, and its ready to go for the next event. Very confident this machine can handle a wide variety of paints and stains, and the included second tip will help with more precise detailed work. Like the nicely organized storage case as well. Thoroughly satisfied with this product!!!

We also make the Flexio 4000 which separates the turbine from the gun/paint and removes 6 lbs from your hand. These are great for larger projects where weight becomes an issue. For help choosing the right sprayer for your project call us at 1-800-328-8251.
                            Great Sprayer
I purchased this sprayer to repaint my stamped concrete walkway, side and back patio approx 1500sf. I sprayed 2 coats of paint, then 2 coats of a gloss sealer also sprayed 2 coats of sealer on flagstone porch, all went smooth and saved a lot of time then rolling entire areas. Just make sure you do your prep work and keep a clean rag handy when spraying to clean the tip every so often, overall this new sprayer worked as expected and cut my painting time in half.

Great for putting new life into old furniture
So I am a complete DIY novice. Never used a sprayer before but set myself the challenge of spraying an old corner unit so it can be re-used. From the before and after pics you will see that a tired old piece of furniture can look like new after using the Wagner sprayer. Very easy to use and quick to clean. Next project already planned for a kitchen table and chairs to be sprayed. Great product and would highly recommend.

Excellent value on a quality DIY tool
Bought this sprayer to restain a decent amount of fence. I did my research and heard several guys talk about staining by hand (??) or with a backpack sprayer and I opted to just spend up on a quality product. I'm very pleased with the results! Last time I stained the fence I borrowed a friend's $400 airless model with wheels, and that was a sweet way to get the job done. I wondered if there would be any quality loss from the commercial grade sprayer he owned and this model that cost a fraction of the amount. Candidly the spray pattern and coverage was just outstanding. I can't say I noticed any difference in final result from his "Cadillac" model to this Wagner. Major props to Wagner. I chose Ready Seal for my stain and there's probably something to the grade of paint or stain you use, relative to the tool you're using to get it done. That's probably the most expensive stain out there but it went on like a champ. I could see if someone picked a cheap stain that it would degrade their experience and they may blame the sprayer unnecessarily. If you're considering this Wagner or a more budget friendly model I would recommend just paying up the $50-60 to have a few more relevant features. I enjoyed the adjustable nozzle direction when I was cutting the horizontal boards at the top of the fence. For staining I used the wide spray pattern but could see usefulness in being able to trim that to half the width for indoor uses, or perhaps painting wood siding. My biggest tip would be to READ the manual before you get going! It helped to spend 30 mins figuring out what all the adjustments did AND more importantly following Wagner's guide for the settings given your application. To stain, I used low power, full spray width, and "3"on the spray density and it was awesome. No over saturation unless I was wiping sweat off my face and held it in place too long. So what's the difference in a $150 handheld model by Wagner, and a $400 Cadillac airless sprayer? Convenience. If you have a few hundred more dollars to throw at it or paint often then it would make sense, but not for most of us weekend warriors. The Wagner isnt real heavy until you've held it for 4 hours and its the middle of summer down south (my bad). It requires two hands to keep level and over time that's a lot of work on your back. Instead of tilting to spray the bottom of my fence I ended up squatting down then coming back up the next set of boards. If you're not into holding 20-25lb and squatting repeatedly then this may not be your best option. Second major difference with Cadillac models (on wheels) and this one is you do have to refill the reservoir often. I can't justify dropping that much money on a top of the line sprayer. It's frankly a little awkward to refill until you come up with a method that works. I did this: -Wipe the outside of the reservoir with an old rag to remove sweat, or small amounts of stain that dripped. -Hold between thighs and use the rag to twist off the reservoir -Place it on ground and refill using a funnel. Do not overfill past to line! -With sprayer between thighs, twist the reservoir back on Pro Tip is you need a rag to wipe off excess residue. If you're sweaty it's a royal pain to get the tank off. I chose to not screw it on as tightly as possible to avoid some of the headache. Hope this helps someone make a smart decision. I'll use it again and again over the years. Thanks Wagner!

                                            Easy to use,
I've owned for about two months. Purchased to paint my moms 1 bdrm apartment. Read a few reviews on how to use, wipe the tip, thin paint etc. Works great. I have since redone my a back patio ceiling, paint another 1250 Sq Ft house, and painted a patio table I was building. For smaller projects I love the small sprayer. To me its not as messy and you can control it. For big rooms that you put on one color I like the big sprayer. It comes with a nice case.I did't realize until my 3rd use that you can rotate and remove the "suction straw thing". That definitely helps when you are doing decks or ceilings

Wagner FLEXiO 3000 is a time savor
I've always heard that Wagner made great paint sprayers and I thought this would be the perfect time to test a home project to compare brushing or rolling a fence by hand vs spraying with the paint sprayer. As a first time user of a sprayer, I purchased the Wagner FLEXiO 3000 to stain our picket fence in our backyard. The coverage area to stain was roughly 150 linear feet (roughly 18 fence sections; eight feet length by six feet high). The packaging was great and each piece of equipment was molded to a specific orientation in the case. A place for everything and everything in its place. I watched the Wagner website videos and they were pretty good and easy to understand. The hard copy instructions that came with the sprayer were fair. I did take the advice to practice spraying first on a test piece before actually spraying the real thing. I used a big cardboard box I had laying around, but the kit does include a practice sheet of paper to practice with. I wore rubber gloves, long sleeve shirt, safety glasses, used the provided plastic bag that you put inside the paint reservoir for easy cleanup, and placed a 10 x 6 plastic sheet overlaid on my neighbor’s side so not to get any stain on their side. It took about one section of fence to spray to get a good feel of the flow, speed and how the contents were distributed. After that, it was very easy to use on the rest of the fence. I finished all the eight foot sections except for one. I under estimated and ran out of stain, my fault (one side of the perimeter had pickets alternating sides of the properties with slight overlap – stupid design). Anyway, I know I finished quickly because I was done in about 1 ½+ hours. That included refilling the larger paint reservoir every time the stain was used up. My neighbor even said to me, “wow – you got done fast. I saw you while having breakfast on my patio this morning and when I came out for lunch you were done!” I can also vouch for that statement because when I purchased the extra gallon of stain I needed, I didn’t want to dirty the sprayer for just that last eight foot section. I instead used a brush and roller. That last section took me about 15 minutes to complete. Thus, 18 picket fence sections x 15 minutes ~ 4.5 hours. Spraying was at least 3x’s faster and definitely the way to go. I listed my staining experiences for first time users to consider: 1. Even if there is hardly any wind, I got tiny stain blowback specs on my glasses, hands, arms etc. I couldn’t figure out how to avoid that while spraying ~ 5” away. Maybe this doesn’t happen when spraying indoors, or maybe it’s because the stain is thinner than paint. 2. I had to refill the paint reservoir about every 1 ½ sections of fence which was fine. However, after the third time unscrewing the paint reservoir, pouring more stain in, and screwing it back on, it got messy. The plastic bag that holds the paint was ripping around the paint reservoir rim (stopped using it after that), my gloves were getting messy and sticky, and every time I would refill, I was basically touch the sprayer gun everywhere. I thought I’d be able to keep the outside of the sprayer fairly clean but I couldn’t. I don’t know if this was because I was using stain which seemed to get sticky after a while. 3. If you’re using a stain, be careful while filling the paint reservoir. Stain is very watery, and if you’re not careful pouring it into the reservoir jar you’ll get it all over the outside of jar. Use one of those flexible plastic attachments that lock onto the rim of paint cans to make it easier to pour. 4. I did start to notice that after about half way through spraying, holding a full reservoir jar of stain plus the weight of the sprayer itself started to get heavy. I had to use both hands to hold it up after a while. It was good exercise, but after 1 ½ hours of spraying, boy were my arms tired. Next time I’ll take a break half way through. 5. Clean up took about 30-45min. I like to keep my tools in great condition. I not only cleaned the main sections of the sprayer and paint reservoir, but I also took apart the nozzles, cleaned inside everything, and the side filters which you should do anyway. In conclusion, I’m very satisfied with my purchase of the Wagner FLEXiO 3000. Great value, good quality, easy to use, and would definitely recommend Wagner to any first time user. I can’t wait to try using the sprayer again on my next project. But, next time I’ll be spraying with paint instead of stain. Cordially, Sam F.

I have never been excited to try my hands on...
I have never been excited to try my hands on this little beast. First of all this is my first time using a sprayer to paint a room. It worked really well and took me a very short time to finish painting my son's room though it took me longer to prep the room, covering all areas that I do not want the spray to touch. The Flexia 3000 came pretty quickly than expected. I really did not read the manual because I had spent a good one week researching and reviewing it online before buying so I knew how to set it up and clean up without referring to the manual. I used the bigger container since I was painting indoors. For the most part it was slightly heavy on my arms when I was spraying the ceiling but I got used to it when I was painting the walls. Make sure you have enough light when spraying or you might need to go over again as you may miss some patches. My nostrils were full of pain after my first try. A very good microfiber nose mask is very important. I did not have that, forgot to close my door and ended up with fine powder all over my nose, hair, arms and my living room though I was spraying the bedroom. You will need to clean the spray tip from time to time because the paint gets stuck on it and then it messes up your work with large drops of paint. I had to stop from time to time to do that. I also learned a heavy lesson to not let the tip dry because that will ruin your work completely. I had to stop and wash the whole tip set (thank God I could just remove only that part and clean it).Washing after spraying was a lot of work for me but I guess that was because I wanted to make sure i clean it to like new. Cleaning is a bit tideous especially if you are unlucky to allow the paint to dry a bit before. Overall, I love this product and recommend it to anyone who wants to try it out for your DIYing.

Thanks for your review. Anytime you spray paint there will be overspray. Anything you don't want paint on should be removed or covered. If painting inside and central air should be shut down. Create ventilation by placing a fan in a window, blowing out. This will draw air and overspray out of the room, creating circulation. I should have bought this long ago!
I should have bought this long ago! We finally decided to buy a paint sprayer for upcoming projects, this one being our bath hallway doors. This would normally have taken us a couple of days, including prep, dry time and clean up. We put three coats on these doors, all within four hours. The coverage is even and much better than a brush or roller. It was very easy to operate, and just as easy to tear down and clean. I can’t wait to use it for our next project. The multiple settings for coverage, power, and position are everything I could ask for.

                                                  Great Stain Sprayer!
I purchased this sprayer to restain/seal our front door, sidelites & porch structure. The product significantly decreases the amount of time needed to stain/seal than the traditional way (i.e., brushing), especially when it comes to the overhead/structure work). Definitely won't be going back to brushing unless it's necessary for some fine detail work.
