Bought my wagner flexio 3000 just over a month ago...first sprayer I ever owned...was initially intimidated by it, but after a few minutes of use and adjustments, my outdoor fence project looks great...the more I used it, the easier and more intuitive it became...and yup...cleanup was a snap...great product..big big time saver..wish I'd bought one sooner...r salinas

Having owned many sprayers over a 25 year career painting, I can say that this sprayer has become my favorite. It is very easy to set up (about 10 minutes, including stirring the paint), and clean (about 10 minutes to run thinner through and wipe down). Which for anyone who has ever used an airless sprayer knows is the biggest part of the job. Very easy to use-just put down drops, fill with paint, adjust the spray quantity, and power, aim, and pull the trigger. Took me about 40 minutes from start to finish to varnish 150 feet of bamboo fence-including setup and cleanup. And the price at around $130 cannot be matched by other so called DIY products out there. This is my second sprayer-one for the beach house and one for work.

Bought the Flexio 3000 to apply paint/primer to brick on my homes exterior and solid color stain to our deck. This thing was a huge time saver turning many days of work into a few hours. Handles thick latex paint/primer without any thinning. When staining the deck it covered the railings and spindles so fast it amazed me. This task is a nightmare with a brush!! Cleans up easily too. So glad I pulled the trigger on the Flexio!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Flexio 3000 to not only spray semi transparent stain onto my cedar fence but also latex paint onto my basement block wall. with the flexibility of this sprayer it makes it easy to dial in the correct settings no matter the thickness of the medium you're spraying on with professional results. Spraying stain on the fence made it a snap to get complete coverage even between the fence panels. The stain went on smooth and without runs and splatter. I achieved similar results spraying on latex paint on the basement wall. Paint went on smooth and without runs and splattering. The unit disassembles easily for clean up and the paint/stain came off with little effort. Spraying the fence and the block wall was an incredible time saver and I was highly satisfied with my results. My only criticism of the tool is that holding the self contained powerhead combined with a full spray container of latex paint can become a little tiring on on your arm after a bit and may be cumbersome if working above ground on a ladder. Also be sure to follow instruction use tarps to protect against over spray whether inside or out. This is a great tool for the money and you can get professional results.

I redone my picnic table and made screens for are porch..I used ispray nozzle for the table .used a thinner paint went on very well.nice even patten .did very good job. I used detail finsh nozzle on sreen frames .also used thinner paint.made my paintig alot easer . clean up on both nozzlez were very easy . use low settings when I painted .Like the 3000 better than the 2000.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Flexio 3000 about a month ago for the sole purpose of re-staining 120 feet of cedar fence. Due to weather and a vacation I just started power washing the fence last week. I've only completed about 20 feet of `cleaning of the fence so I decided to try out the sprayer this morning(9-2-18) and wow. I'm using an oil based stain and the sprayer applied the stain flawlessly. I completed the 20 feet in about 15 minutes, which included I refill. I've included 2 pictures, with one picture of the "before" staining. Will update this review when I complete the project.

Recently relaced my house roof and decided to paint the entrance door and window shutters to match. Typically used a brush for this kind of work but decided to try a sprayer. Reviewed the literature and decided on the Wagner flexio 3000. A careful review of the instructions and some practice on a plywood sheet and the results were great. The unit performed well, was easy to use and clean up was simple. Very happy. The rear door will be next.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was tasked with getting 8 adult and 1 child's Adirondack chairs painted. I used this sprayer and it did a fantastic job. I sprayed the bottoms of all of the chairs in a little over 30 minutes. I let them dry and then painted the front of them in roughly 45 minutes. I used the bigger of the two paint containers so I could continue longer. It is really easy to adjust the spray setting so you are not wasting a lot of paint. I was able to paint all of the chairs in a gallon of paint and had a little bit left over in case I need some touch ups down the line. The sprayer is very light weight, even with a full load of paint. I was able to switch and use my left hand and was able to control the sprayer just as easy. You can follow the spray pattern easily so you can make sure there are no runs starting. The spray pattern is nice and smooth whether you are going up and down or sideways and the chairs look great. Cleanup was fast and easy and took less than 20 minutes. Just a few parts to be taken off to clean. I would highly recommend this sprayer.

My Wagner 3000 paint sprayer showed up just on time. I read the instructions that were easy to follow and I started the project right away. With the roller was taking me very long time but with the Wagner 3000 less than couple hours. So powerful and easy to use. My hand didn’t get tired at all. The cleaning process is piece of cake. You just need to follow the instructions. I’ll start preparing the house so I can paint. I love that product from Wagner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do wood working as a hobby, and my wife requested a bench for our mud room entrance. The base of the bench is made from 4 in x 4 in, and 1 in x 4 in reclaimed barn wood. The seat is made from reclaimed 3/4 inch oak flooring. I used the FLEXIO 3000 to apply three coats of a clear base coat sanding sealer, followed by three top coats of a gloss polyurethane. I am pretty much a beginner with using a sprayer when applying finish coats for furniture. So I am quite pleased with the end results that I achieved. I ran into some splatter when I first started, but adjusting the material flow and air power took care of things. Also, I think that wiping the nozzle head frequently with a damp cloth helped as well. I also used the FLEXIO 3000 to apply a white Latex paint primer coat on two old base bathroom cabinets that I was converting into storage for my workroom. Splatter was again an issue, but I was able to keep it to a minimum. The end result was fine. I used a brushed applied enamel final coat. THE PRO's for the FLEXIO 3000 that I liked: 1. carrying case 2. directions clearly written. The SETTINGS GUIDE chart on page 8 is a good starting point. 3. I really like the user indicators on the unit itself. 4. the Spray Width Lever is really useful. 5. extra air filters and grease for the rubber o-rings are nice. The only two issues that I have are: 1. clean-up took me a little longer than suggested in the manual. 2. the unit is a little heavy. 1.5 cups of paint will add to the over all weight. I have a large wooden patio deck that needs painted, and I was not looking forward to doing this with a brush or roller. The FLEXIO 3000, I think, will make this task a whole lot easier.

Gets the job done fast! I had to paint 12 sheets of lattice with extremely fine grids. Was able to do the front and the back in less than a day. Would recommend.

I bought this Wagner product to paint a Bilco Door enclosure for my basement steps and a 10 x 12 shed. The sprayer had no problem laying the paint on right out of the can. BAHR exterior latex the best paint Home Depot has. The shed was a breeze too, even filling the sprayer container multiple times on a 90 degree day. The sprayer kept right on going. I am kind of a prefectionest when it comes to cleanup, so I take the whole sprayer apart and get all the books and crannies, so it can be time consuming. I feel it is worth the effort for many years of service.

The painter worked right out of the box. Easy instructions to set up and use! I would recommend this for small projects.

I bought this 3000 for my deck. I have sprayed 12 gallons through it with ease. It does get heavy after hours of use. I would have liked the one that pumps straight from the 5 gallon bucket but this is my only big project. I also build furniture so I am eager to try it with my smaller projects. I would like to know if there is an attachment to pump from bucket or if I have to buy a whole 2nd sprayer.

Very easy to use and covered a large area inn minimal time. Just tried it once looking forward to next project. Cleanup was easy also

Great product. I love the flexibility to use with various mediums. I stained the fence in no time. Parts come apart for easy and thorough clean up.

It spit and dripped everywhere. I never used it on my project, ended up rolling the paint on.

I was so impressed with this sprayer. Learning about it first puts you at ease. So far I did my picket fence around my patio 10x25 just 2 sides. Took about 1 gallon of behr exterior paint. Covered beautiful. The other best part was the easy clean up. Wow !!

Too Heavy should come with backpack it also spits to much after just minutes of using it the sprayer gets clog and I have to continue removing the clog in order to continue spraying. I'm going to return it for another type that's not so heavy.

I will recommend this sprayer for walls, floors, decks. I do not recommend it for ceilings. The overspray is terrible so be sure to mask everything off that you don’t want paint on. It doesnt seem heavy until you are holding it over your head for a period of time. While holding it above your head the nozzle tends to clog very easy and it starts spraying everywhere, globs of paint as well. (Yes i continuously cleaned it) However when it worked properly its a good sprayer

Great tool to save lots of time and money on paint project, easy to learn how to use, I am painting 2 story house siding and i am half way through, used thick behr marquee latex paint just have to wipe and clean the tip nozzle every few hours , greatly recommend

I watched several online videos before buying it. A litter jittery since some are saying it spatters and does not distribute paint evenly. My first try was not so successful; the paint seemed not coming out. Immediately the pessimistic side kicked in that some were right. For a brief moment I was thinking the thick Kilz Premium primer was too much for this DIY sprayer, like those negative videos said. Then I realized that I positioned the nozzle more than a foot away from the surface that was too far, and the flow adjustment came in at the lowest setting. Not before long I was able to figure out spray width adjustment, vertical/horizontal pattern, and the right flow setting for my primer paint (8). The first few hours ended with cleaning. For water-base paint, the standard recommendation is warm soapy water. I found that might be true for still-wet paint or bigger spots of dry paint (actually you need to scrap them with finger nails), for thin-layer dried paint, cloth with 91% alcohol is much more effective. After getting comfortable with all necessary steps of using the sprayer, I did my project over two weekends. Now comes to the spatter part. Yes, it does happen. But I found that problem went away naturally as the paint dries. Most dry speckles just fall off easily. Using either fine sanding papers, or even just my bare hand, can get rid of them smoothly. If you spread out your project like I did over more than a weekend, then you might consider buying a smaller fresh can (such as a 32oz one) right out of the store for the final coat, and only use opened larger 126oz cans for earlier layers. That way the likelihood of spatters on the final coat is almost none. Worst case is that you might need to touch up those unlucky dots where the speckle did not fall off smoothly. I used Behr Alkyd semi-gloss enamel recommended by local Home Depot staff, the final coat out of a fresh can was spotless. So the grainy little bumps did not happen to my last coat. But I did observe tough dried speckles that needed sanding paper while painting base layers out of older cans. Like any DIY projects, there will be learning curves. And things are not always like what we imagined. Don't let something like small spatters and speckles discourage us. I had fun getting through the process and using this product. I happily recommend it. A friend already invites me to help his kitchen make-over after seeing mine. Have fun and happy painting!

Excellent home owner friendly sprayer. Worthwhile investment which, if you follow directions,should perform for years.Quality construction including case for storage of the small bits which I always seem to misplace.Simple setup and easy to use. I always strain my paint after mixing and add floetrol which I find increases coverage and evens out spray.Always do a test spray and practice on a piece of cardboard and you will be happy with the speed of the job and results.As with all sprayers clean up is key. The claimed 5 minute clean up time may be pushing it but is fairly easy.I also store my tools inside during cold months to avoid freezing.Wagner offers support videos and extends warranty with product registration.Purchase with confidence, worthwhile investment.

I have used several members of the Flexio family, and this one continues to live up to the name. It's not tremendously different than the 590, though there is a numbered material adjustment on this model that allows you to gradually increase material flow to the desired coverage. I used it with Gliddon Diamond interior paint & primer to paint an old wooden chair and the coverage was excellent. It's nice to have the variety of fan speeds in conjunction with the material flow settings to get exactly the coverage you need. Obviously I had quite a bit of overspray since I was painting a narrow object, but I wanted to try out the new sprayer, and it performed as expected. I was able to paint the entire chair in under 10 minutes, turning the paint sprayer at various angles to get all the surfaces underneath the chair - definitely a huge timesaver over hand painting it. The control on these models is excellent, there was no accidentally spray or dripping (though you do need to make sure to frequently wipe the end of the sprayer so paint doesn't dry and create a clog). I don't plan on painting interior walls anytime soon, but I would definitely employ this if I did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Flexio two weeks ago and am very pleased with its operation and ease of clean-up. It arrived and was packed well (picture 2) and arrived with a case! I tried this unit on the interior of an outside door( picture 3) which had some scratches. After prepping the door I readied the Flexio. This was a very easy process (picture 4) as all fit and connected together easily. With the Flexio having a long AC cord length and the "How To" spray chart (picture 6) operation was made easy! Often times I hear that clean up of sprayers are a pain, well this is not the case with the Flexio!! I had the unit apart, cleaned and back together and in the case in 10 minutes! (picture 10). One note hear is to make sure you follow instructions stating to clean the spray tip as you are using the Flexio. This is a standard process on most all sprayers. I would recommend this Flexio to others! My Finished door! (picture 12).

The Wagner Flexio 3000 HVLP paint sprayer is an excellent sprayer for household use. It comes with a detail adjustable spray head and also general adjustable spray head for wide and narrow patterns. It had a variable trigger and the spray heads twist and lock onto the X-Boost turbine controller with ease. It's not for heavy commercial use, but works well for home and shop paint projects. I like that it's easy to clean up and will handle latex and oil based paints, stains and primers. I'd definitely recommend it for all your home painting jobs.

Wagner Flexio 3000 This is an excellent paint sprayer. It is reasonably priced, well built, easy to use, versatile, cleans up relatively easily, comes with a nice case and is covered by a one year warranty. I have owned a number of paint sprayers over the years: high end airless, turbine driven hvlp, compressor driven hvlp and even an old Wagner Power Painter. All of these had good and bad points and while this new Wagner Flexio 3000 is not perfect for everything it is a great sprayer for most things you will be doing around the house. I love having my tools in cases and this sprayer arrives in a really nice plastic case that not only provides protection but also keeps you from losing any of the attachments. The sprayer consists of three main pieces, the actual sprayer, an ISpray Nozzle (large nozzle and container) for spraying large surfaces with un-thinned latex paint and a Detail Finish Nozzle for spraying thinner materials such as stain. I practiced with the large nozzle and some semi-gloss latex. The sprayer handled the latex with no problem, as a matter of fact to get a nice finish on trim I had to lower the material flow control down to the number 8 setting. As with every sprayer I have used in the past a bit of experimenting is required to get a good finish. A spray poster is included to help you practice and get the correct settings, I used a large piece of cardboard. Using the large nozzle there are a number of controls that will help you get the finish you desire. You can adjust the level of air pressure with the knob on the top, the amount of material being applied can be set via a dial with increments from 1-12, you can set the width of the spray to narrow or wide and the direction of the spray pattern can be set to either vertical or horizontal. Another really nice design feature is the ability to set the sprayer down without it falling over, every sprayer I have owned has been impossible to set down, you had to somehow hang it on something or have someone hold it while you moved a ladder. The sprayer is also quieter than many others that I have used. The sprayer comes with a very good owners manual that explains the setup and use of the sprayer and a helpful chart on power and material setting. For homeowners looking to do painting around their house with a little practice this sprayer will be great.
