Mallet is terrible!!!

I love it, you would need to use a heavier hammer rather than the mallet for easy and faster process.

tool should be smaller will not catch the edge of metal be as it should

This product works well as long as you only use 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" cornerbead. It will not work with 1 1/8" cornerbead which is probably why some users complained. Also, you need to hit the strike pin HARD! If you do that it will save you tons of time and will hold well as you spackle.

Unacceptable design flaw. Both crimps hit outside of the corner bead so it does absolutely nothing but dent the drywall! I took it back!

Did not work for me , just used screws .

The tool bent the corner bead and th cleats don't hold.

Works perfectly and it comes with the mallet which made it a perfect gift for some one who really finds it a timesaver.

This tool makes it so much easier to put up drywall corner bead. Takes a little practice to get the right amount of force but once you have it down it is great

This is a must have tool. I was a bit skeptical after reading a few reviews but this got the job done securely. Caution you can use the rubber mallet but make sure you give it two good whacks.

When I first got it I was not sure how it worked, or I should say what was the best way to make it work. Some of the reviews that said that it did not crimp the metal is what I was encountering. I was frustrated until I figured that instead of using the rubber hammer that you had to use a regular hammer and to give it a really good hit. Now it is a go to tool on the job, best of all is that it centers the bead right on. I still follow up with a few nails, but yes it works good.

It need to be 1"1/8 not 1"1/4 to work the right way look for the right one don't waste money

No need to screw in corner bead anymore and risk bending it. Puts corner bead up with ease, just a few strikes and it is in place. Why didn't I invent this?

its ok but not for the pro who will be using it all the time. we found it alittle flimsy and does not perform to its fullest crimping capability we still have to screw the cornerbead in with sheetrock screws

This tool is a must have if you work with cornerbead. Just measure and install. The tool keeps the cornerbead perfectly centered and straightens out any bends. The install is so quick, just a few hits with the included rubber mallet and your done.Less time means more money in my pocket.
