Well made. Excellent addition to my Weber grill

Original broke in half while cleaning so ordered this replacement. Superior to the original because of crosshatch design so less chance for smaller pieces falling between grates (original only had grates lined up in same direction as outside grates) and makes nice char line pattern. Enamel coating seems a little more durable too. Hopefully this won't rust out as quickly as the original did when enamel separated from the cast iron due to heating cycles with 3 years use.

Heavy-duty sear grate....seems like it will last forever!

It works just like it is supposed too. I like the cast iron better for holding the heat, better than the steel grate.

This one replaced the original, which broke in half during cleaning, two years after purchase (or was it three years?). This one works well, and even gives me that diamond-shape char pattern so hard to do previously. Gotta love it!

I dropped the original grate and it broke. This replacement grill is cross hatched vs the straight bars. Makes a nice past on meats.

Love the item it does what I wanted it to do for me.

I have a Weber 2 burner spirit grill. After about a year of heavy use the insert broke - makes sense as excessive heating then cooling can do very bad things to the temper. This was a very reasonable replacement.

It was unfortunate that I dropped the original grate that came with the grill, but we are so much happier with the replacement part. The original grate was prone to slipping out of place while we cooked while the replacement grate is secure in its position.

My steaks came out with very nice grill marks and tasted even better. Thanks Weber for this necessary piece of equipment.

The grill comes with a middle insert so unless you are really into grill hash marks you really do not need this item.

The sear grate does a great job on steaks and burgers

Followed the instructions and washed the grate, and placed it into my prepped Master Touch grill. Let it heat up and put the steaks on. Dropped the lid and waited 6 minutes, turned them over and repeated. The steaks came out perfect medium rare with the classic "X" sear marks. Best steaks ever. Cleanup was easy, just soak the cooled grate in soapy water a few minutes, then wash and rinse. A must have if you have the Gourmet System grill. Doesn't get any better.

The grill we ordered showed it had a skillet for the center. I ordered this just incase the regular grate wasn't included with the grill. We haven't used it yet, but love the accessories we've purchased for the Weber grill.

Terrific for steaks, pork chops,etc. Love the grill marks! We love the idea of changing up the standard grill by having all the different inserts.
