Excellent addition to my Genesis
I owned another stand alone griddle and it never performed up to its standards. The cook surface would warp when you put food on to cook. The Weber insert has done very well at everything I have tried. Breakfast to cheesesteaks. Very satisfied.

Love this griddle!!!!
I purchased this griddle insert for my Weber Spirit II grill over a year ago. I was a little intimidated by the seasoning process, so it sat in my shed for over a year! A couple weeks ago, I finally worked up the courage to take it out of the box. I watched several videos on how to properly season the griddle and I used the Weber seasoning. It was super easy and I was mad at myself for waiting so long! I am now obsessed with this griddle! I’ve cooked so many things on it and they all have come out great! Nothing sticks and i make sure to properly clean and oil it after using! It’s a 10/10!

Gas Grill Insert
If you're looking for an alternative for getting another grill to cook on a flat cast iron surface, this is it. The insert fits perfectly, and is built to provide years of quality results. At the time of writing this review, I've had mine for about a month now, and I love using it. Between smash burgers, cheese steak sandwiches, stir fry's, and everything else, it's brought a new purpose to my good old gas grill. Definitely worth the investment in my opinion.

False labeling…
I bought this two weeks ago, and just like some other reviewers, I bought it because it specifically said it fit spirit 300 series grills. It does not. And it’s not even close. Can’t say how disappointed I am. This was literally a meal the whole family was looking forward to and now it’s ruined. I can’t fix it because whenever I search for the proper insert it brings me right back here.

Your feedback is very important to us. The full-size Rust-Resistant Griddle Insert is compatible with the older Spirit 3-burner models and the recent Spirit 4-burner models. The griddle insert compatible with the smaller Spirit grills is part number 7658, and the Weber Crafted griddle insert (requires Weber Crafted frame kit). I hope this information helps. Griddle or Grates in One Grilling Unit - Love It!
The griddle is a great addition to add to my Weber Genesis II, 3 burner grill! It is well made and easy to use. It comes ready to use (pre-seasoned). We used it to make Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches, smash burgers, and pancakes/eggs/bacon all within the first 24 hours. It cleans up really easy, just follow the instructions. I was happy to see the design allows for grease drippings to flow down to the catch pan. I don't use this as primary, but very nice for keeping the griddle clean while frying. I also have the carry-bag that goes with it which will be nice to keep it protected during non-use. I kept the plastic bag it comes in from the shipping box to use to keep the carry-bag a little cleaner. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase!

I am really enjoying this!
I love this insert, I really do! But.... Grease management!! If you do not clean out your grill after a bunch of smash burgers, expect a nice grease fire! If Weber can develop a better grease management system for this insert it would be beyond awesome! But again, this thing is great! I have cooked so many things on this insert. Rice dishes, English muffins, chopped cheese, pizza's, Philly cheese steaks....etc!!! You cannot go wrong with this insert and you will not regret it. But please, grease management!!! Just got the Weber griddle insert on sale. Have seasoned it and used it to make bacon and eggs. Wife says it’s the best she’s had and didn’t heat up the house or stink it up. Plan to make smash burgers this weekend.

The description (and the box!) for this item state it fits a “2016+” Spirit 3-burner. Which logically should include 2025. Only in the checkbox when checking out does it specifically state that 2016+ actually means 2016-2024. This does not fit a 2025 Spirit 3-burner model. Same as a review from another person.

I have an old 2004 Weber genesis and was looking for a griddle. It fit well and is very sturdy. I’m 100% happy I didn’t have to buy a Blackstone, lol. This does the job.

Good little griddle. Easy to clean.
This is an updated review. I have used this griddle insert twice now. Once for some bacon fried street corn, and secondly on some cheese steak sandwiches. The first time I used this griddle, I was getting some smoke in my face, but it might have been weather related and a more windy day or something. This didn't happen at all the second time I used the insert. The griddle fits into place nicely and is quite straightforward and easy to use. My favorite part is that it fits into my oven which makes cleanup a breeze. After cleaning the griddle, I simply reseason it quickly in the oven and it's all set up and ready to go for next time.

Amazing in every way
This cast-iron insert is worth its weight in gold.
I am very big on grilling vegetables and fish. This full-size insert allows me a very large surface area to grill a tremendous amount of vegetables and fish.
It cooks everything evenly. I am amazed at how absolutely delicious and perfect it cooks everything.
I had been using a hodgepodge of cast-iron griddles and skillets, etc. ians I had to cook a little at a time. This product allows me to use the entire cook surface with no wasted space.
I could not be happier with the product. I was surprised how very very very good everything turned out from using this cooking surface.
I should not have waited so long. Really worth it. Thank you Weber!

Amazing upgrade
Just received as a gift for Father’s Day. It fits my Weber Spirit II 300 (3 burner) grill perfectly. Make sure to follow the included direction for seasoning and you will be set. I grilled 18 double patty smash burgers for Fathers Day and had rave reviews. Pro Tip: Open the heavy duty plastic sleeve carefully along the top edge and save the box. This gives you a place to store your grates when you are using the griddle. Enjoy!

Perfect companion for my Searwood XL 600
I purchased the griddle to use on my Searwood XL 600. It's a perfect fit and am pleased with my purchase. In the first week of owning the griddle I've cooked chicken and french toast. Looking forward to more cooks!

My favorite birthday gift
Love this griddle insert! This heats up quick...cooks food evenly. Already have enjoyed smashburgers and quesadillas.

excellent quality, thick and solid carbon-steel
I used the Spirit insert on my 2005 Summit D6 Platinum. Fits depth-wise and covers 3/4 of the grilling surface. Perfect for my needs and gets more life out of an old (but marvellous) grill.

Loving my new flat top
I have been researching getting a flat top grill, when I saw this advertised on FB. I decided to splurge and ordered one. Cleaning it was my biggest reservation, but it is easier than I imagined. Hash browns come out so much better than in our electric skillet. Just made a large batch of carne asada, so good.

Don’t deliberate-BUY IT.
Took delivery of this about 3 weeks ago after it sat in my shopping cart for months in end. I’ve since cooked eggs, bacon, pancakes, hash browns, smash burger sliders and dogs. Not cheap, worth every penny. Weighs like 20lbs and built like a fortress. I seasoned 4 times before first use and I can already tell this thing will outlive me….so on-brand for Weber!
