The features of the iGrill 2 are incredible! Purchased and extra food probe and the grate probe. Didn’t realize how inaccurate the lid thermometer was but makes sense why it takes so long to cook something like a pork butt on my new 26” kettle. With this, I can slow n sear 3 ribs with 3 probes and monitor the grill temp at the grate from inside my home with the app on my iPhone, and set ranges and alerts to let me know when the grill temp gets out of the desired range; too hot or too cold. Started grilling with a Weber charcoal grill since 1993 and just wish I had one of these all those years instead of a basic meat thermometer having to open the lid releasing heat and puncturing holes releasing juices every time. Used this multiple times now and this is one of the best accessories I’ve ever bought for charcoal grilling! Heck, I even used it once in my attic to see how cold it actually gets when temperatures are freezing outside; left it in for 2 days with the batteries it comes with and I’m still yet to replace temp.

Got for Christmas and used yesterday for the first time. Easy to set up .. easy to use .. but one probe out of the box kinked and didn’t work properly.

Pretty easy to set up and use. Simple to connect to my smartphone. I'm just kind of irritated that I'm locked into 165 degrees for poultry when I know how to cook and would like to cook it slightly under. There should be a option for a custom temperature. As it is I am using one of the steak options.

This is easy to use and set up. The readout face is clear and bright. I did a prime rib that cooked faster than recipes stated. The igrill gave me proper temperature reading. The roast turned out perfect.

Found the igrill2 to be easy to use and accurate for ambient temperature as well as internal temp.

What a fun accessory! I use the iGrill 2 with the two meat probes plus an ambient probe to watch the temps on two meats and the grill temp on my Big Green Egg from inside my home. I used a small grinder to create three slots on the edge of the grill to keep it from crimping the wires when I close the grill (picture enclosed). I suggest buying an Ambient Temp Probe to use along with the two meat probes. Weber should include the Ambient Temp Probe with the iGrill 2 package. Also, they should include instructions on how to clean the probes in the package. The temp measurements on the Weber probes are more accurate than the inexpensive hand held probe that I used to use.

Works great but Weber needs to add WiFi capability because Bluetooth range very limited. I used 3 probes (top, mid, bot) on turkey along with ambient temp probe. For first time I could accurately monitor cooking process for a perfectly fried turkey.

Love it!!! Can be away from grill/smoker and just look at my I-pad to see whats going on. I love that I can keep the lid on my smoker instead of checking the food temperature manually and losing heat. The thing works great and came right up on my I-pad. Love the features of food types and done-ness, oh yes not to mention the recipes all on my screen.

Used this bad boy to cook my Thanksgiving Turkey and it worked great! I really enjoy being able to use 4 prodes and the ability to link to my phone.

I got this just in time for a brisket smoke on a kettle. This took all the guess work out. Ambient probe is much more accurate than the lid thermometer. I stayed in the AC 30-40 feet away and never lost contact. When I left home and came back it reconnected immediately no issues. I highly recommend this for people who like to grill!

Owned for 15-20 cooks now and it’s perfect for reading internal and ambient (@ the grill) temps. My first iGrill was faulty and replaced by manufacturers at no cost to me as it would drop connection regardless of distance even after reset process. The new one works perfectly (as it should) & I would recommend it to anyone. The only improvements I would suggest are 1. the ability to put a variable high/low range select on all preset cooks (eg. brisket 195F-208F) and 2. model upgrade that connects to Wifi & or Bluetooth for those moments when you need to run off to the supermarket. Smoke on!!!

I have been bbqing for over 45 years and the I Grill 2 has been a revelation. The easy and accuracy of getting food perfect evert time is absolutely brilliant. It’s so good I bought a second one for my son

For $99.00 and the Weber name, I would expect a product that works. Standing next to my smoker the connection was flaky. As soon as i went in the house it was over. Bluetooth just isn't the right way to monitor your smoker. If i have to be so close that i could read the lousy "temperature gauge" that came with my smoker then i might as well learn how to interperet that data than waste my time, money, and frustrations on this over-hyped piece of tech. I'm just going through the seasoning process and this thing is already being returned to the store.

So far the product has worked very well. About the only cons are simply the high price and that its very hard to read the display outside.

I have bought 2 of these. First one accidentally got rained on. I smoke in the rain would be nice if it was waterproof. Second one I forgot magnet on grill after setup and melted mag base. My bad but why is it magnetic if you can't put on the grill? As for function, temp grilling is awesome. Cut of meat grilling locks Temps for certain cuts. Wish they were recommendations. I do pulled pork shoulder to 203. Only can go 190 if you put in pork shoulder. Not the end of the world ,just have to use the temperature setting. The range is also short. You get alerts to your phone but you have to be within 40 feet to connect. And that doesn't incude walls. Otherwise great product.

The only thing I don’t love is that I have to be very close for it to work. I live in a very small house, and It disconnects when I’m on the other end of the house. Other than that, I love it!

They work very well if you want to stand next to the grill. I went inside and could read the display but kept losing connection. Fairly useless and not what I expect from Weber.

Performed as advertised and made my job easy.

Probes seem to only work once then randomly wonder from 45-500 degrees. Have now replaced probes twice. No more. This thing is an overpriced paperweight. App is nice.

I bought this about a month ago. While it works (when it does) it constantly loses it pairing. It also take me 6 to 8 tries to get it to connect at all, even when I am standing right in front of it. I have replaced the batteries and also used the "rest" button numerous time just to get it to work. My phone is less than 20' from the unit everytime we use it. Not a very good unit at all..

Awful distance. You can use the app and monitor your temperatures about 25 feet away from the base or else it disconnects. Might as well just get up and look at the temp on the base. Make sure you do not have any walls, windows or anything structural in between you and the base for best performance or any at all. So basically, just get up and look at the base if you desire to know your Temps. Good try though!

excellent product and great price and shipping by HomeDepot. The thermometer is perfect and does the job very well and accurately.

Could not read the numbers, messed up my phone.

I found my iGrill very easy to set up and use. I purchased it primarily because I use my Weber 22" charcoal grill 3 or 4 times a week to cook foods, and on weekends to smoke meats. The iGrill2 helps me to stop guessing if my food is near done. I use one probe as a temperature guage of the grill itself, while using the other 3 to keep track of meat temperatures.

I received my iGrill 2 last year as a Christmas gift and it works perfectly every time I use it. My family is amazed at how good the meat is when it comes off the grill. I bought my brother one for Christmas this past year I love using this so much.

I wish I had had "all" the reviews before purchasing. Seem like it would have been a great device. The issue I have had after buying the igrill 2 is pairing. I have got to to connect and stay connected twice. If it disconnects, when you try to reconnect it will constantly just cycle through tryin to pair without connecting. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I have removed the batteries and did a reset. Same issue. For half the money you can purchase a much better probe. I did give it 2 stars instead of 1 because I really think this could have been a great device.
