Didn't fit my ladder

I installed this on my 28ft light duty Type III 200lb ladder and it really increased the stability working at extended heights. Installation was straight forward, no issues.

Excellent product, I was able to use the product about 2 1/2 feet from the top of the ladder which enable me to step right on the roof, should have bought one years ago.

I think this product is awesome! Its adjustable span & standoff makes it a must have for persons that uses ladders on a daily basis. I only use it when necessary as a homeowner for "scattered" projects BUT making the purchase was truly the right thing to do for me!

I found the stabilizer very simple to install and use. I was pleased at how easy it is to put on and take off, because I can't always use it. I had hoped to use it resting on the roof, and allowing me to work on the gutters underneath. It didn't work for that, but it did push me far enough away from the overhang that I could work on the gutters quite easily. For reference, I'm using it on a very old aluminum ladder and the mountin points are totally adequate.

I can't understand how no one else had this problem. I installed it properly on my (werner) extension ladder, and the locking pin kept bending, as if that was the only think holding it on the two top rungs. Followed the (crummy) directions, heck, I even browsed a couple of Youtube’s to see how it’s done. The “locking” cam latch just wasn’t locking. I returned it, went with the cheaper version, the one with 2 U-bolts. At least you can tighten those up – even if they’re clumsy to remove.

Shoulda had this years ago. The quick release ones would be an improvement however there is nothing wrong with this one, instant stability.

Used on 12.5 foot telescoping ladder worked great! I felt secure while installing gutter guard.

Easy to attach. Very stable.
