Bought this product to control insects. Put in brick weep holes around house. So far have had good results. It was easy to work with. Used good gloves as advised in the reviews. Also gave me an excuse to buy a good pair of work scissors. Purchased the Milwaukee Jobsite Offset Scissors with Iron Carbide Blades at Home Depot also. Very happy with both purchases!

Product heavy and thick. May be hard to get into tight places, but it is effective.

Had some difficulty vacuuming up all the little metal pieces after cutting the roll to fit where I needed it, but it did the job of stopping the passage of rodents.

Xcluder is awesome and absolutely does the job! I carefully separate each roll lengthwise. Then I use tin snips to cut each section in half lengthwise, then cut those 2 halves in half lengthwise. So each roll yields eight 1” rolls. Now I’m ready to go to work using the 1” rolls and my screwdriver to plug every conceivable entry point around my cabin in the woods. No more poison. No more traps. Just Xcluder!

wear leather gloves or you will get very little pieces of s.s. on your hands. but it seems to work very well !!!

The mesh is easy to use. It is heavy duty yet the layers pull apart easily (with leather gloves) to make it thinner for long, narrower crevices. I was able to cut through all layers with regular household scissors.

This is a very tough fabric, I recommend wearing gloves. I needed to cut this fabric is two long strips, you will need a great pair of sissors, and take your time. I pressed this fabric into place with a thin piece of wood. I tried to push it in place with a finger and was stabbed by some of the steel wool. Be careful,take your time, keep those pests out.

I used a surgical sizzors to cut 1 to 1.5 inch peices from the roll and stuffed those peices into the weep holes around the foundation of my house with the aide of a wood shim [one could also use a flat head screwdriver]. This does appear to have stopped the neighborhood's friendly field mice from entering my house's walls. So far, so good!!! It works like steel wool, but won't rust, staining the foundation. It is more "breathable" so as to allow the weep hole's venting fuction to continue. I did not get a sissors as I thought came with box, but not a big deal. Would definately recommend*****

Since installing the Xcluder fabric I have not had any chipmunks burrowing between my rear patio steps and the foundation. Did the job!

This stuff is a little expensive and hard to cut but it really works to keep the rodents out. Probably best to seal with silicone caulk after covering gaps. At first I just stuffed into gaps and notice that the mice were trying to pull the Xcluder away from the gaps but covering with silicone to fix in place did the trick.

I love this product. Used it for filling in cracks jn an old stone foundation to keep mice out.
