Yes. You just program only 3 zones. No need to cap the unused one off. I have 2 of these 4 zone timers and am getting a third. Easy to program. Especially with the App.

No matter how much I try to connect it to Wi-Fi, it won't connect. I have the 1st gen and that one doesn't have any problems.

Yes, the B-hyve timers with screens can operate without Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. You may also be interested in our older, non-smart timers if you don't want something that connects to your Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

Garbage
Straight garbage... batteries only lasted 1 months and when I finally went to replace the batteries it was completely dead. Ive been using orbits stuff for years but after this flop ill start using rainbird or hunter

We really wanted to love it, but sadly it will not work at my location. we have two orbit 4 bank sprinkler systems that work off bluetooth. We wanted to go to wifi. First, we had to split our wifi to 2.4 megahertz, and then after dealing with that, it would only operate if plugged in OUTSIDE in the weather, right next to the sprinkler unit. So we could get the front sprinkler system to work cause there is a fairly protected outlet nearby but the back sprinklers didn't work. I would have purchased another wifi unit but we don't have an outlet close enough to the back to fully automate our sprinklers. It was a real bummer. So I guess if you have low speed wifi and an outlet near the sprinkler control that is protected from weather it would be awesome. But for my property it just doesn't work.

So Leaky
I bought this a few weeks ago and gave it a few tries before giving up. It's so leaky, it just leaves a huge puddle in the dirt. I can't leave the water on so it totally defeats the purpose of setting a timer and letting it go. I've used Orbit timers before so this is a pretty big disappointment and huge waste of money.

DO NOT BUY!
DO NOT BUY!!!
Ports don't close properly, they stay open and the sprinkler keeps running. I have 3, all 3 do this and it started in less than a month.
If I could give negative stars I would. I’ve bought products that were cheap trash, this is at the top of the list.

just doesn’t work - Valve couldn’t open on next use
Bought this a while back but was too busy to return. This garbage doesn’t work. So many returns as you can see here. I connect it to a water line, and it only turns on if I manually turn off the water supply line after use. Otherwise, looks like the valve just not open, so I have to manually water anyways.

Cheap and not worth it.
Bought this in November of 2024. Worked well. Now it's only 4 months later and the water is bursting out at all the seams. This is cheaply made.

Leaks occurring in the body or casing of the timer can be caused by two things: water pressure exceeding 100 PSI or exposure to freezing temperatures. During the freezing months of the year, we recommend removing your timer from the hose faucet and storing it in a warm, dry location. Display collects water
This unit has water collecting in the display. I own two more timers and they are fine. I bought them in early June set them up for the first time in July. I needed to buy extra hubs to get them to consistently work, that's the delay in use. I am in northeast Pennsylvania.
