There should be something tightening it down. You would loosen that first and then just pull up on the stem/cartridge.
Thank you. We suggest you contact the Home Depot Customer Care Department at 1-877-527-0313 and they would be glad to answer any questions you might have.
The base is 10 an 1/16 inches and this faucet requires an 8 in spread hole placement.
The length of the base is 10 inches.
This faucet has hot and cold brass treaded connections at the base of the faucet that you connect the hot and cold supply lines to.
There are threaded extensions coming down from below each handle knob . Those extensions serve two fold: they hold the faucet in place via nuts and the water hoses attach to them . The faucet is installed in 10-15 minutes. It's quite simple. Perfect DIY project.
If I am understanding you correctly, The faucet has threads that the hoses connect to that are about 3-4 inches long.
Good question since the picture doesn't show the extended connection. It does extend. If you want a detailed picture, on the faucet's home page on HD's site, go to Installation Guide on the right and it'll show you the standard extended connection.
if you simply replace an existing faucet then you would not need anything else. However, I might recommend getting new flexible water connection tubes. Way worth the money considering you safe time and headaches of getting the old ones connected without having any leaks. All the new stuff available is soooooo easy to put together compared to what plumbers (and DIY-ers) had to deal with some 15-20 years ago....
Every thing you need to install this style faucet is included in the box. I don't know if the installation instructions show a faucet wrench, but you will need one to complete the installation. Without this tool, it is almost impossible to remove the plastic hold down nuts that secure the faucet to the sink and also to remove the water supply lines. If you don't have this tool you can get one at Home Depot. If at all possible, I also like to replace the water supply lines when I install a new faucet.( Please make sure you shut of the water before you remove the supply lines) Hope this helps
If you already have your existing supply lines available from the old faucet, this is all you will need along with some new silicone to seal around the deckplate.
Thank you. As long as your water supply lines are good and reach from the faucet to your shut off valves under the sink, you shouldn't need anything else.
Yes. I live in a mobile home.
Thank you. As long as the sink has the 8" spread configuration and adequate water pressure (40 to 60 PSI), this model will work in a trailer.
yes
all you have to check if it has three holes in your trailer sink to slide the faucet in. If you have only one hole than this is not the faucet for you.
Thank you. This is for an 8" application but the whole base is 10 1/8 inches.
Yes it is 8 inches on center.
If you are talking about the mounting nuts then it should.
it has the nuts and bolts you need to secure the faucet on the sink and connect to the water lines. However, I recommend getting a new flexible water supply hose which makes it much easier to install and suffices almost to just hand tighten it (almost). No wrench cranking needed to make it leak proof.
This comes with the plastic nuts to screw the faucet onto the sink. All the supply pipes that you buy separately have the supply line nuts as part of them.
standard space between handle and faucet is 4" for kitchen, so 4 + 4 = 8"
8" center
