Can the unit be made manual only? Unit will not work even after battery changed

They are available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM EST.
Yes. Disconnect the battery wire. Wait a couple minutes. It'll unwind the solenoid I just keep the batteries disconnected, and go manual. HD sells the control box RP90101 for $59.
Yes. I have bypassed the sensor on mine for now until I replace the faucet. You can replace just the sensor assembly, but for what it costs, I'm going to buy a whole new faucet.
Is this electrical?
Hello Orion. This unit runs on batteries, but an A/C adaptor can be purchased separately so that the unit can be plugged in.
if i purchase this do I have to install the soap dispenser?

There's probably scale buildup in the unit HW connection line. Unscrew/detach the connector and pick/clean the hard scale with pins/needles. Happened to me twice, but has been good for more than 3 years now. Problem is with your HW heater being too scaly
How can you bypass the auto shut off?
