Questions & Answers
Is the plastic screen removable so that mineral deposits can be cleared?
Hi Home Depot Customer, This Roman Tub spout does not have an aerator or a removable screen, so there is no component that can be removed for cleaning mineral deposits.
How tall are the handles
Hello MaryPat. The handles are 3 3/8 inches tall.
What is the width between center of one faucet handle and the other? I see the width is listed as 9.5", but not sure how this equates to the center-on-center distance between hot and cold openings.
Hello PNGento. This unit is an 8-inch on center unit.
What is the spout reach on this model?
Hello Kate. From the middle of the handle assembly to the middle of the spout, the reach is 7 11/16 inches.
This is identified as a "roman tub" faucet. The FLOW RATE is only 2.4 gpm @ 20 psi (estimated at 4-5 gpm at 60+ psi). Roman tubs typically have flow rates at 18-20 GPM. Why is this listed as roman tub faucet?
Hello jbran. Anything that puts out mixed hot and cold water in a home cannot maintain an output of 18-20 GPM as there is not enough pressure available from either the cold-water line or the line from the hot water heater. Most Roman Tub Faucets on the market today will average the 4-5 GPM at 60 psi.
Do I need to use the thin white plumbers tape with these connections?
Thank you. You can use the plumber's tape (Teflon tape) for installation.
I bought this product thinking that I can use the existing deck mount shower head diverter Handle
Thank you. With this model, a side handheld shower head cannot be attached. You would need to purchase a model that comes with a diverter handle and side hand shower.
what is the size of the mounting nut? this question was asked in dec. 2023 and the rep responded in jan 2024 that they would look it up and update. NO UPDATE, it's april... I need to replace the nut and need this information as well.
Thank you. If you need to replace the mounting nut, this unit comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty so simply contact the Home Depot Customer Service Department at 1-855-434-5224 and they would be glad to send out any parts you may need, free of charge.
