Useful mini water heater for my kitchen drinking water heater.

Mini water heater is a planned upgrade of my kitchen water supply. I was planning over a year to upgrade my kitchen water supply. I am using the kitchen water as my drinking water supply source. So hot water was an issue and questionable. Setting up the water heater is resolving the problem. Now I can take the right temperature of water. The heater also auto controls the temperature and pressure which is the great advantage of this mini water heater. 120 Volt electric supply supports the mini water tank. So I didn't need any upgrade of the system. Only I have to sacrifice the storage cabinet under the sink.

Perfect for my needs!

I got this particular water heater to use in my camper for a few reasons. 1. It runs on 110v standard power and I'm not a fan of gas. 2. It fits perfectly under the Queen size bed. The bed will raise 6" for extra storage but I wanted it to fit with the bed down. 3. It's light weight and has plenty of hot water for the camper sink and i can even take a quick shower if I turn the water off while soaping up. 4. The controls are super simple and it was really easy to install and it plugs into a regular outlet with the pre-wired cord!!!

Instant hot water, bathroom wide

We are using this as an add-on water heater, i.e., the inlet pipe is the house's hot water pipe. The outlet pipe feeds the entire master bathroom. We have near instant hot water at any fixture. House is all-electric so this added 8 gals to our main 50 gal tank. We set both to about 140, but we use a mixing valve to limit the 8 gal water heater's inlet temp to 120 to limit the main tank usage. The mixing valve has a backflow preventer so we had to add a small expansion tank. This being the largest model, we have some very tight plumbing, i.e.. the drain pipe has to "goose neck" around the front bulge, etc. Our electrical inspector requires a 20 amp circuit even though a 15 amp would meet code, so we wired for that; we installed a recessed "clock" receptacle to support the tight fit. We are very pleased with it and don't believe it requires much extra energy to provide near instant hot water.

Great heater!

Cool product! Its pretty small which means it'll fit in lots of spaces. This was a 120v model and doesnt pull many amps so you wouldnt need a 20A circuit. BUT, you shouldn't run it with any other high draw devices like curlers or hair driers. You'll want to check plumbing connections before you start the install because you may need to find adapters.

Tiny but mighty

This little thing is tiny, but mighty! It comes packaged very well. The Styrofoam is super thick and it comes with all the necessary bolts and installation instructions. This works great for small spaces or perhaps a small guest house which is what we’re using it for… Tiny but mighty, and doesn’t take up a lot of space, I definitely recommend this if you need it for a small spot.

Compact water heater

I love the compact size and ease of install of this water heater. Just hook up the water lines and plug it in. I like that I can use existing outlets and do not have to direct wire or run gas. Water is a precious commodity in a camper so instead of waiting for the water to run warm I installed this under the sink for instant hot water. For being a 120v unit this works extremely well.

I went from a 4 gal Bosch to this in the 8 gal and it’s been a world of difference. Not only does it get hotter but pairing that with the larger tank ensures that I never get cold water at the shampoo bowl!
