As a part of our "Done Right Guarantee", we’ll thoroughly assess your home's heating and cooling needs. We'll perform a heat load calculation, provide an accurate quote, and install a properly sized system to maintain temperature and comfort levels. If within 1 year of installation your new system doesn’t operate to manufacturer’s specifications, we’ll correct the issue in a reasonable amount of time, or we’ll remove the product and/or materials and give you your money back.

Should your system (heating or cooling) experience a breakdown within six months of being serviced by The Home Depot, we will refund the cost of the tune-up and return to perform a repair diagnostic at no charge, provided all repair recommendations were accepted and completed at the time of the Tune-up.

Free Second Opinion
If you’ve received a written quote from a licensed contractor for a repair to your system, you can turn to The Home Depot for a second opinion to verify whether these repairs are truly needed, or whether the repair quote is reasonable. Provide us with your written quote and we will perform repair diagnostic free of charge as well as a comprehensive quote for any needed repairs.
No After-Hours Fees On Emergency Calls
If your system breaks down outside of our local service provider’s regular business hours, and your system is not heating/cooling and posing a medical or property risk, we will not charge any additional after-hours fees exceeding the regular diagnostic fee provided a technician is available.
Diagnostic Fees Waived with Repairs
If The Home Depot performs a repair diagnostic and repairs are performed on the same visit, the diagnostic fee will be waived with any paid repair.
