I ordered Bali Lightblocker blinds. The blinds fit well and were installed well. However, they block almost no light and do not appear to be Lightblockers. I drove to the store twice with one of the blinds, and I called my Home Depot Store at least twice (East Palo Alto). I was told that the correct product was installed, though no one verified that. No one looked at the blind I brought in, to verify that it was the correct product, so there is no way they would know whether it was correct or not. I want to return the blinds, but was told that I have to work directly with Bali, not Home Depot. I am a regular Home Depot customer, and I'm usually happy with the products and service. However, this experience was completely unsatisfactory. I'll probably hire someone else to install the correct product, and just chalk this purchase up to a learning experience. The lesson learned is very clearly that I should not hire Home Depot to install window treatments. I'm attaching photos that show how much light is allowed through by the blinds. I was particularly impressed the Home Depot took the extra step to forecast weather conditions for the planned installation. They got the job done, tested the locks and functions, and cleared up after themselves in a professional manner.
